Chapter 6

Arabella's POV

I woke up the next morning happy and sore. I grabbed my phone and saw a text from my mom.
        Hey sweetie, I need you to come home right away when you wake up. Your father is here to see you and your sister.

I jumped up scaring Justin and quickly got dressed.
J:babe you okay?
Ari: yeah my dad is in town. Do you want to meet him?
J: sure, just let me shower quick. Wanna join me?
Ari: mhm tempting but I'll just get one when I get home since I don't have any of my stuff here.
J: suit yourself.
He said while walking towards the bathroom.

While he was in the shower I quickly got dressed and put my shoes on, I found his brush and brushed through my hair. When he was done we heading down the stairs and outside to my Jeep. The drive to my house took about 15 minutes once's we were there we went inside. Justin followed me as I walked right into the kitchen and grabbed an apple, I tossed him one as well.

     Ari: MOM WHERE ARE YOU?
M: outside honey.
Ari: okay
We went to the back where the pool was. I saw my sister floating around and my mom tanning on the chair.
Ari: Mom wheres dad?
M: In the office he had to take a call.
Ari: oh okay, I'm going to go change into my swimsuit.

   I went back inside to change. As I shut the door to my mom I noticed Justin followed me.
Ari: Yes?
J: I just wanted to be near you. I have a bad feeling about this visit.
Ari: oh ok. But stay here while I change.

I went into my walk in closet and changed into my favorite teal bikini.

When I walked out of my closet I saw Justin lost in thought.
Ari:what's wrong babe?
J: nothing just thinking about the pack and introducing you as my Luna.
Ari: oooh.

As he said that I remember the agreement I had with my father about what would happen shortly after I turned 16. We went back down to the pool. My dad was sitting there staring at my mother. I think he misses her and regrets the "break" they're taking.
Ari: hey daddy.
Dad: hey pumpkin. How have you been, how's school, who is this young man.
Ari: daddy this is my boyfriend Justin. School is great I've met some good friends. And I'm okay. How about you.
Dad: boyfriend? Young man what are your intentions with my daughter.
Justin: sir I plan on marrying your daughter. I have nothing but the purest intention with this beautiful woman standing next to me.
Dad: we will see about that.
Ari: so daddy why are you here. I thought you had meetings all month and weren't able to come out till then.
Dad: well sweetie I'm here to talk about our deal.
Ari: oh okay.
Dad: I need you to come back to New York with me and start your training.
Mom: WHAT!! She's in high school Edward. She needs to graduate first.
Dad: I know that Paige. I'm going to have her homeschooled and learning the business at the same time.
Ari: what no. I don't want to go yet.
Dad: well if you don't then you and your mother are cut off and I'm taking Kayleigh she will learn the business when the time is right.
Ari: fine I'll do it
I said as I ran into my room. Knowing Justin will follow me.
J: are you okay babe?
Ari: no. I don't want to go. I just found you and now he's making me leave.
J: don't worry I will come with you.
Ari: no you can't what about that pack. We will just work something out. I promise. We are mates. There is no other for me. I can take over the business and move the home office here to Montana. We will just have to deal with it until then.
J: are you sure babe.
Ari: Yes

I left Justin in my room and went back to talk to my parents.
Ari: when are you leaving I need to pack and say goodbye to my friends.
Dad: in a week.
Ari: okay.
