Chapter 3

Ring ring ring.

Getting out of bed I turned off the alarm. I took a shower and got ready for the day.

Today was the big day. I would start my new life without any guilt of my past. I could make new friends and do some good in this crappy world. To say the least I was very excited.

Walking to my aunt's room I knocked hearing a "Come in" I opened the door.

"Hey auntie. I wanted to talk to you about today. I think it would be a good idea that you didn't erase all of our memories."

"Okay which ones do you want to keep?"

Smiling I replied "I want to keep the ones about you and Scarlett. About my quirks and how to use them. I want to forget everything about All for one and the league. I believe that will do."

"You want to forget about your father?"

Without hesitation I nodded. "Yes"

"Ok let's get started."

*Time skip*

Beep beep beep.

I started looking around the room. Looking down at my arm I notice an IV in my arm. Am I in a hospital? I looked to my right seeing my aunt sitting in a chair asleep. I looked to my left to see a bed with Scarlett in it. What happened? I moved sitting up groaning. This seemed to wake up auntie.

"Why are we in a hospital?"

"There was a villain attack and you both got amnesia. Which is what the villain quirk was." She replied holding my hand.

"Oh that is why I don't remember anything. Ow my head hurts." I complained while massaging my temple.

"That must be a side affect of the quirk."

"Is Scar okay and when can we leave?" I questioned.

"Yes she is fine and the doctor said that we can leave whenever. They did a brain scan and there was no damage. So when Scarlett wakes up we can leave."

"So um I remember you and Scarlett but do I have a mom or dad?"

She sighed with a soft smile on her face. "Your mom was a hero. Sadly she died in battle. Your father left when you were a baby."

"Was mom nice? What was her quirk?" I asked

"Your mother loved you so much. She was very nice. She loved helping people and making them smile. Her quirk was called four elements. She could create and control fire, water, earth and air."

"Oh is that how I got it? I duplicated mom's quirk?"

"Yes you did" she nodded.

"I want to be just like her." I smiled.

"What happened? Ow my head." Scar questioned while grabbing her head. After I explained what happened. We left to go to our little apartment.
