Let's Become Heroes (Bakugo Katsuki X Reader)

Chapter 9

My next battle was against Bakugo. I can't expect him to hold back. He wants first place just as much as I do. He is most likely going to attack as soon as it starts.

"Hey Katsuki looks like your getting to fight me after all." I stated smirking

"Yeah you better not hold back." He said smirking back.

"I wasn't planning on it."

"Begin"

My wings came out. He started running towards me. Just as predicted. I put my hand to the ground causing a wall of rock to come up. I looked behind me and teleported.

*boom*

I looked back to see that he broke the wall. I created another. Flew into the air. I looked just behind him and teleported. Before he could react I kicked him in the side. He grabbed my foot and set off an explosion causing me to scream.

I looked at the sky and teleported causing Bakugo to come with me. I kicked him with my other foot causing him to fall. It wasn't that high. It was high enough to hurt but not enough to cause permanent damage or kill him.

When I landed he came at me again. I wasn't thinking and I blocked the explosion with my wings. Which caused a large amount of pain. They are burnt so I can't fly now. I could heal them but that would take too much of my energy. I decided to retracted my wings.

This isn't looking good for me. I can't use my wings. And my leg is burnt so everytime I take a step I'm in pain. I need to suck it up. There is no such thing as a good battle without any pain.

I ran towards Bakugo and he ran towards me. As soon as I saw his hand move towards me I teleported behind him. Setting off an explosion causing him to lose his balance. He pointed his hand at the ground and set off an small explosion. Which caused him to regain his balance.

He spun on his feet and set of an explosion in my face. I lit my hand on fire and I swung my hand at him. He backed up to avoid the flames. Before I could get up and recover. He kicked me in the back causing me to fall and hit my head.

I looked up at him and he had a scared look on his face. I felt a warm liquid run down my face.

"Katsuki?" I muttered before I blacked out.

"Father I already told you 100 times I don't want to be a villain."

"Scar do you want to become a hero with me?"

"I want you to erase our memories then take us and put us outside the hospital so the doctors will think that we have amnesia and we can go on with our lives and go to school."

"I think it would be a good idea that you didn't erase all of our memories."

"Okay which ones do you want to keep?"

Smiling I replied "I want to keep the ones about you and Scarlett. About my quirks and how to use them. I want to forget everything about All for one. I believe that will do."

"You want to forget about your father?"

"Yes"

I quickly sat up clenching my head and groaning. What the hell was that?

I heard crying next to me. I turned to see the last person that I though would be crying. Bakugo had his head in his hands sobbing. That sight shattered my heart.

"Katsuki, babe, what's wrong?" I asked worried.

"I did-didn't mean t-to h-hurt yo-you."

"Baby, I know you didn't mean to. It was an accident. It was all apart of the battle. Come here." I put his head on my lap gently combing my hand through his hair.

"I'm fine now. You don't have to worry. I know you didn't mean too."

After a couple of minutes he calmed down.

"So you got into the top four. Who are you up against?"

"The bird boy with the shadow." He said.

"Oh Fumikage Tokoyami. So when is the battle?"

"In like five minutes." He muttered

My eyes widened. "Hey you need to go out there and win."

"I don't deserve to win."

"Stop that. You deserve it more than anyone else. You fought and won against Uraraka. You fought and won against me. You are strong. You need to go out there and show them who you are. Let them know your name. Win this, if not for yourself then win it for me."

I noticed that the last sentence shocked him.

"I really don't deserve you. Bug."

I laughed. "I love you too. Hothead."

After he left I turned on the tv to watch the event. Katsuki was back to his normal angry self.

I know that he wouldn't let anyone but me see him in such a fragile state. He won the battle between Tokoyami. I was smiling like an idiot until I remembered the dreams I had before I woke.

They really didn't feel like dreams they felt like memories.

*Knock knock knock*

"Come in" Scarlett walked in

"Thank goodness you're okay. I though Bakugo killed you." She said relieved

"It wasn't that bad." I laughed. I then frowned.

"Hey Scar I don't really know what they mean but before I woke up I has these um well I'm guessing they were memories from before we woke up with amnesia. I think that me hitting my head caused me to remember them."

She sighed. "I remember them too. It appeared when I was sleeping a couple of nights ago. You were asking me if I wanted to become a hero with you."

"Yeah. That's one of the ones that I had. When I go home I'm going to ask auntie about it." I said.

After that Scar and I watched the match between Bakugo and Todoroki.

"Omg he won he actually won." I screamed jumping up which caused a sharp pain to run through my head. "Ow"

Scar left to let me rest. I was half asleep until Katsuki came into the room. I sat up.

"I'm so proud of you. Come here." Once he was close enough I grabbed his face to kiss him. The kiss was sloppy but yet very passionate. We both pulled away to catch our breath.

"Here." He said holding out the medal out to me. I just stared at him confused.

"You told me to win it for you so I did. So here this is for you." He said blushing as he pushed the medal closer to me.

"Really? Thank you." I was so ecstatic. I threw my arms around him.

"Whatever idiot." Despite those words I felt him hug back.
