Tae ended up staying the night with Jimin so he is the first person to see Jimin, the real Jimin " wow dude my bestie is really hot" Jimin laughed and smacked him on the shoulder " my bestie is hotter than yours" Tae blushed " shut up I am not."
Tae drove them to school there is no reason to hide their friendship any longer, so it wasn't a big deal being seen together. Jimin had texted his friend's last night letting them know they could talk to him and what the plan was, the only stress he had is seeing Jungkook again but he would manage somehow. Pulling into the parking lot Tae parked " are you ready to make your big reveal?" Tae asks Jimin fidgets with the strap of his backpack feeling nervous " I need to do this I'm not going to let her win" Tae grinned " I got your back remember that."
They climbed out of the car and headed to the school Jimin could see students turning their heads to look at him, Tae grinned and grabbed his hand " let's really give them something to talk about" he spotted Namjoon and Jin standing by the entrance, they looked right past him. Jimin giggled drawing their attention "holy shit Jimin is that you!" Namjoon exclaimed Jimin nodded with a huge grin on his face, Jin hugged him " you're so pretty why did you hide all this?" he told them everything they are very understanding he is relieved that they aren't angry, he realizes this is a true friendship neither cared about his appearance one way or another they accepted him for who he was as did Tae.
Jimin has been through hell to find friends like these did he regret it? No, not one bit because these people are worth more than their weight in gold in his opinion. They finally noticed Tae standing slightly behind him though he is taller he had remained quiet he is a bit shy around people he didn't know "who's he?" Jin asks " Jimin giggles " this is Taehyung he is my soulmate" Namjoon shook his head violently " what about Jungkook?" he blurted out, Jimin looked away " I don't want to talk about him" Namjoon sighed " Jimin, the video sucked I know what he said hurt a lot but trust me I have talked to him he was lying through his teeth to get information from Jinni he had no idea that he was being filmed, next time you see him take a good look at him he isn't who he used to be he doesn't talk to anyone or eat from the bags under his eyes he's not sleeping and even though you want nothing to do with him he hounds Hoseok for news about you, does that sound like someone that was just using you?"
Jimin hung his head " no" Tae squeezed his hand gently " he really looks like he's been through hell you haven't been here the last few days but I saw him he doesn't even bother to brush his hair that's so unlike him" Tae said. Jin nodded " he looks like a zombie when I asked him if he was ok he just asks me about you" Jimin wanted to cry, he was so sure that Jungkook had used him but Jungkook is really not like that at all if he wanted to get laid he could sleep with his fangirl, but he didn't. Though they had never labeled their relationship Jimin knew Jungkook liked him, he is protective and jealous at times and never pushed for sex even though Jimin was willing he respected him and didn't push to go all the way. Jimin felt stupid for letting his pride rule his heart after this is all over he would talk to Jungkook" I'll talk to him later."
They headed inside Tae swung their arms happily as he skipped to Jimin's locker, people stared in confusion as Jimin pulled his books from his locker " Jimin" someone shrieked. Jimin turned around only to be crushed in a tight grip " Jackson, you're killing me" Jackson let him go " I heard about this hot new guy and my baby said it was ok to come to take a peek then I saw him using your locker and with your friends and I realized it was you, damn boo you look good" Jimin rolled his eyes " you have a boyfriend " Jackson laughed " I know I do and I love him but that doesn't mean I can't give you a compliment, why is this dude holding your hand because I will knock him out, you and Jungkook belonged together" Tae let go of his hand and hid behind Namjoon he didn't want to get punched by Jackson it is obvious everyone is misconstruing their relationship " he's a friend" Jimin realized the hallway had gone quiet he turned his head and saw Jungkook walking down the hall they are right he looks like shit, dark circles around his eyes, hair sticking in every direction, his clothes wrinkled like he had slept in them.
A girl screamed shrilly as someone grabbed the back of his head pulling his hair " why are you dressed like this your ruining everything" Jimin laughed " hate to break it to you Yellow Canary but I know who you are" Tae grabbed her arm removing it from Jimin's hair " I followed you and saw you laughing after Jimin was hit by the car, you're insane" she laughed " like anyone will believe you I am the top student in this school no one will believe you" a small pale girl stepped forward " I can help I'm her younger sister I bumped in to Jungkook one day and he helped me pick up my book she saw everything and threatened to kill me in my sleep, Seulgi I'm sorry but you scare me you need help Jungkook does not like you and never will" she shrieked and attacked her sister, clawing at her face and arms.
Jungkook grabbed her around her waist " Seulgi, stop! She's right I will never like you. I love Jimin there is nobody else for me but him, you tried to ruin his life, do you think I can forgive you for hurting the person I love? Because I can't, I hate you so much you make me sick" she broke down crying " I'm sorry please just love me, all I want is for you too love me, me not him. He's a liar and hurts people he made Jinyoung attempt to kill himself that is how selfish he is, he may be pretty on the outside but inside he is ugly" Jungkook shook his head " no that's you, Jimin is beautiful through and through" she laughed " fine if I can't be happy neither can he" she lunged at Jimin wrapping her hands around Jimin's throat squeezing as tight as she could, she is stronger than she looks. Suddenly Yoongi is there in front of them he slams his fist into her temple knocking her out with a thud she hit the floor, Jimin gasps taking a deep breath, slowly he stands up.
Cops enter the building and quickly cuff Seulgi for everyone safety, teachers come and usher everyone away except for Jimin and his friends who have to give statements to the police, a few minutes later they are released to go to class " Jimin wait" Jimin stops " it's finally over I can't believe it was Seulgi this entire time I would have never expected her of all people " Jimin burst into tears throwing himself into Jungkook arms " I so stupid I know you would never say those things about me, I was confused why you would like someone like me and it was easier to convince myself you were just using me than to actually believe you liked me" Jungkook hugged him tightly " your right I don't like you" Jimin pulled away" what?" Jungkook pulled him back in his arms " I love you Park Jimin" Jimin smacked his chest " you scared me don't do that you Jerk" Jungkook bent down and captured his lips kissing Jimin slowly and tenderly.
The bell rang and students came out of their classes shocked to see Jungkook kissing a boy, that boy being the nerd turned handsome prince Park Jimin, Jackson high fivedYugyeom, Tae grinned happily, Namjoon wrapped his arm around Jin's waist, Jin giggled and kissed his cheek, they are happy for them. Hoseok wiped away a tear as Yoongi glared at the kissing couple" You're graduating this year right?" Yoongi glanced at the handsome man beside him turning slightly red at the question " finally he nodded " good because I can't date a student "Yoongi is left speechless.
Jimin finally realized people are watching them, he blushes making Jungkook laugh " baby, get used to it I will kiss you a hundred times a day" he drops to his knee " Park Jimin, will you be my boyfriend" people gasp and whisper Jimin ignores them all he has eyes only for the handsome boy in front of him " yes" Jungkook jumps to his feet and picks Jimin up twirling him around in the air " you make me so happy" he kisses Jimin passionately " I love you" Jimin smiles finally he has his happy ending.
