Jennie puffed out a sigh, her eyes scanning the train hallways as she tried to find her seat. Her heart was pounding in her chest. Nobody knew she was in this train. Alone. Heading to Busan.

Jennie had a fight with her mom last night. Jennie was invited to Kendall Jenner's halloween party, but her mom wouldn't let her go. She couldn't understand why her mom insisted her to not go when she's a grown-up. Plus, her company would allow it, Jennie was 100% sure about that.

Maybe her mom was worried, US is completely different from Korea after all.

"I don't want you to forget your roots. I don't want you to be like those models, Jennie. The only thing they know is partying, they don't even need to work hard to earn a living. You're much better than them." Her mom's words from last night rang her ears.

Jennie hated when people are being judgmental. Of course, Jennie has heard bad rumors about Kendall Jenner and her squad. But she refused to believe in rumors. She knew how it feels to be misjudged just because people have heard rumors about you, she knew it better than anyone.

"I know you are worried, but I'm a grown-up now, mother. I'm 23 years old. I can take care of myself."

"Seems like the fame is starting to get into your head, Jennie. Wake up."

With that, Jennie immediately left her house and headed to Blackpink's dorm only to find the youngest - Lisa and Chaeyoung - fighting with each other. They fought over the silliest thing. Chaeyoung ate Lisa's chocolate chip cookies before Lisa even got a taste of it, and Lisa got mad. She said, and I quote, it took every inch of her body to not eat the cookies so she wouldn't go over her daily calorie intake. Chaeyoung said Lisa was being a drama queen, she wouldn't gain weight overnight just from eating cookies. Lisa then said Chaeyoung was being insensitive. Jisoo, the oldest, tried to calm them down only for it to be backfired. Chaeyoung yelled at her for being nosy, while Lisa told her she was disappointed at how Jisoo always sided with Chaeyoung. The manager wouldn't intervene them and went out of the dorm. They were nosy. Too nosy.

The members originally fought a lot - over the smallest, silliest things. This was normal. They would sleep in other member's bed 10 minutes after their fight and woke up hugging each other. A day without bickering was not normal for Blackpink's members.

But today, Jennie was exhausted. She have had enough. Her head hurt from not getting enough sleep, felt a little nauseous because she didn't have dinner, and she got blisters on her foot. Jennie added fuel to the already burning fire. "Ah, you're all so nosy. Who the hell cares if you gain weight, Lisa? Also Chaeyoung, will you stop eating for once? Jisoo unnie, just let these kids be. They will never grow up."

Silence.

"I hope you know you're being harsh, unnie. You know how conscious I am with my body. You know we all are, including you." Lisa stomped off her feet, leaving the three in the living room.

Seeing this, Jisoo initiatively took a few steps toward Jennie. Softly touching Jennie's shoulder, Jisoo asked her. "Jennie, what's wrong?"

"Ugh, just mind your own business unnie." Jennie spat whilst brushing off Jisoo's hands from her shoulders.

Jennie knew she was projecting her anger towards her mom to the members, she knew she was at fault, but she couldn't help it. Regretting her words almost immediately, she ran towards her room then locked the door. Jennie's head and heart were both pounding. The remaining two members didn't bother to run after her, for they were hurt and confused at Jennie's behavior.

So now here she was. Running away because her feelings overwhelmed her. Running away to ease her guilt.

Jennie booked the ticket right after she slammed her bedroom's door, picking the first departure. Busan was the only city Jennie thought of. Somehow, sitting by Haeundae beach for a few hours seemed healing. Not wanting to make her family and members worried, she then proceeded to book an afternoon train ticket from Busan to Seoul. Strolling around Busan for a few hours was her escape plan.
