Life is full of unexpected things, you'll never be sure of what will come to your life in the present or in the future.

"Ate, you still don't have a boyfriend?" Tanong ng kapatid ko na si Claudia. Halata sa kanya na nang-aasar nanaman siya kasi ang tanda ko na raw wala pa rin akong boyfriend.

Inirapan ko siya. "Bakit ikaw? Siguro may boyfriend ka na, no?"

"Kung oo, talo pa kita. Baka maunahan pa kita ikasal." Sabi niya at inirapan din ako. Natawa naman ako sa sinabi niya.

"Alam mo, ikaw, ang bata-bata mo pa. Grade 5 ka pa lang may boyfriend ka na. Sana all."

Bumisita muna ako saglit sa bahay, uuwi rin ako ng condo ko mamaya, malapit lang naman ang bahay ko sa condo ko, umalis lang ako para walang gulo.

"What are you doing here, Thalia?" I heard someone asked, I turned around and it turns out it was my Dad who hates me, well not necessarily hate but he prefers my siblings over me.

"Paalis na rin ako, Dad." I said and got my stuffs para makabalik na sa condo ko.

Lumapit sa'kin yung kapatid ko. "Ate, aalis ka agad?" She said and she pouted.

"Uuwi naman ako sa weekend eh. Libre kita sa Saturday, ano you want that?" I asked her and she nodded.

Nag-paalam na rin ako sa iba ko pang kapatid, pati na rin kay Mommy.

"Bakit kasi ayaw mo na lang dito? Hindi ka pa hassle umuwi every weekend." Sabi ni Kuya nung nag-paalam ako. "It's much nearer to the company, Kuya." Umiling lang naman siya sa sagot ko.

"Bullshit, Thalia. I'm working on a hospital in San Juan and I still go home every single day." He said.

"Hayaan mo na Kuya. Okay na ako doon. Sige, una na ako ah." I said and left his room.

I decided to roam around BGC for a while before I go home, it's been a while since I last shopped and my friend asked me to go have dinner with her tonight.

I decided to go to Nike to get myself a workout clothes and shoes as well, para naman ma-motivate ako mag-workout.

I barely look at women's shoes section. Kadalasan sa panlalake ako nagtitingin kasi mas gusto ko yung itsura at mas marami pang pwede pag-pilian.

"Jordan 1 low? That's a good one." Someone said behind my back. I turned around and there was some guy, I'll admit, he is cute and tall and moreno. My type.

"Oh thanks. I was just looking at it, thinking if I should buy it." I said and placed it back on the rack.

Ngumiti siya at nag-lahad ng kamay. "I'm Ricci, by the way." He said.

"Oh, Thalia. Nice to meet you, Ricci." I said and shaked hands with him.

I decided to get the shoes since it looks really great and I've been wanting to buy it for quite some time now, naging busy lang ako.

Nagbayad na 'ko nang binili ko para makapunta na 'ko sa restaurant na sinasabi ng kaibigan ko.

The guy earlier was cute and I wonder if would I ever see him again? I'm pretty sure he's not just the only guy named Ricci in this country or in the whole world.

"Girl, where have you been? Ang tagal, grabe." Tumayo si Janina sa inuupuan niya, kasama niya ngayon yung boyfriend niya.

"Sorry, side trip lang ng shopping, you know me. Oh, Brent, long time no see!" I said and sat down the chair. Naka-order na sila kaya naman nag-order na 'ko.

"We're only three, Why is there an extra chair?" I asked them, sakto kasi palagi mag-sabi si Janina kung ilan talaga kami, there's no chair for a bag.

"Oh, yung friend ko, papunta na rin daw siya." Sabi ni Brent at tumingin sa pintuan. "Ayan na pala siya eh." He added. Tinignan ko kung sino yung nasa pintuan and to my surprise it was him, yung gwapong demonyong may dahilan kung bakit ako napabili ng sapatos.

"Sorry, mahirap parking tapos may tinignan ako sa Nike." Sabi niya at umupo, tumingin siya sa akin at ngumiti. "Uy, Thalia! You guys know each other?" He asked.

Obvious ba?

"Duh! Anyways, mukha naman nang magkakilala kayo, no need for introduction." Janina said and she looked at Brent. "Uhm, look, we asked you guys here, our best friends, 'cause, we're getting married." Janina said and showed us her ring.

"Oh My God! Congrats! Okay, I'm not volunteering but I should definitely your Maid of Honor." I told her as I was looking at the ring.

Almost all of my friends are getting married or happily together with their respective partners, but, me? I'm single as in single.

"Teka, paano kayo nagkakilala?" Tanong ni Brent, napatingin naman kami sa isa't-isa.

"Uh, kanina lang sa Nike." Sabi ko at tumingin ako sa kanya. He just smiled at me.

Dumating na yung order ko at kumain nag-simula nang kumain.

The dinner was filled with their plans for their upcoming wedding and how Brent proposed to her. Will I ever experience those?

It was 10pm when we decided to call it a night and decided to go home, nauna na sila Janina ang kasama ko na lang ngayon ay si Ricci.

"Uhm i didn't expect that we'd also be in a same place." I said.

Naglalakad kami ngayon papunta doon si pinagparkingan namin, baka magkalapit lang kaya nakasunod siya saakin.

"Yeah, me too." I said.

Malapit na kami sa parking spot kung saan ako nag-park kaya nagpaalam naman na ako sa kanya.

"Bye, Cci! See you around." Sinabi ko at binuksan na ang pintuan ng sasakyan ko.

"Bye, Thalia!" He said. I smiled.

He is so cute, crush ko na siya pero hindi ko sasabihin kay Janina, I know her, she'll be a matchmaker for the two of us and Ricci might find it awkward and I don't want that, I want to be friends with hin first, then maybe, I can make him my jowa afterwards
