"Okay, okay" Isadora's doctor suddenly said as he put his palms in front of him, "We are going to let you go. But first, you need to free that lady."

"I am not leaving anybody here! Where is the damn exit door?" Captain Obrien muttered through gritted teeth.

"Let her go, Captain," one of the nurses said with a terrified look on her face.

Isadora bent her head down and took a deep breath. First schizophrenia and now this!!! Why was her life so full of tension!?!

"Please captain, let us help you" another doctor added, "Look around yourself. No one wants to harm you here."

"I don't care!!!" the man retorted as he raised his tone, "I DON'T!!!!"

He did not care. He did not care about anything. She knew that he was feeling like she did one month ago...when she was told that she was suffering from schizophrenia. She felt that everybody would be rejecting her and that her world was crashing down. But she knew that she was wrong because everybody at the hospital cared for her.

She knew that no matter what happens, one must be brave.

"You're delaying! And you know her life is in danger!" the man shouted and everybody gasped.

They kept on telling him to leave Isadora and that they would not hurt him but he did not let go of her.

Isadora's fears started to go away all of a sudden. Why? She really didn't know...

"You're going to hurt me," she said as a statement and instantly all the doctors kept quiet.

They were all looking at her with puzzled eyes. What was she planning to do? She herself had no clue.

"Just one thing though, captain," she said as she looked in his eyes...his beautiful eyes...which were also full of sadness.

The man just glared at her in return...

"You are a military man" she stated. She was not completely sure if what she was going to say would make him calmer or angrier. But she knew that she had to remind him of his duties!

"You are a disciplined military man" she continued in a determined voice, "And as far as I know you guys are here to protect the country and its citizens. You guys care for our safety! This is the reason why you put your life at stake to defend us!!! And now you are using me?!? The one who should be protected! You are using me just to save yourself? I really did not know that you were like this....my perception of the military forces was all wrong I guess...."

A very long silence followed her speech. Isadora respected the army a lot but she was forced to say the last sentence as she wanted him to remember his duties. Everybody was looking at her with a stunned look on their faces. However, her doctor was observing the reaction of the captain. She decided to imitate him and yes.....she did right....now she knew that what she said calmed him down.

The captain had bent his head down and was thinking hard. He let go of Isadora and was no longer angry or frustrated like he was a few seconds ago. He seemed to be pondering on something. A moment later, his eyes became watery. Isadora reckoned that he was remembering the war....perhaps she reminded him of bad memories? Oh no...did she mess up his case even more?

Two seconds later, her doctor along with other nurses, approached her and carefully led her away from the man....the pensive man to be precise. He seemed disconnected from the world. Actually, he looked like he was in a sort of trance.

They watched him carefully and realized that he was not moving anymore...What was he thinking?

"Let's lead him to the room" a doctor suggested and they all obeyed.
