Superhero High: The Beginning

Flight Class

After a long day, Jessica Wildwind just entered her last class of the day, Flight Class. As she entered the class she sat down on the benches with the rest of the class. "Hey, Jessica, may I sit with you?" Asked a voice from beside Jessica. Jessica looked and saw it was Ashley Emotion. "Sure." Said Jessica looking back down. They both sat in silence for a minute but before Ashley had a chance to break the ice, some one fly in to class and caused a sonic boom. Jessica fell to the ground covering her ears in pain. The teacher walked over to her and bent down and said "Sorry there new kid." Jessica looked up to see a woman in about her 20s look down at her. The teacher had sky blue hair with white strands and was wearing a blue and white tracksuit with a red mini cape. Her purple eyes sparkled when she got up and the sunlight hit them. "Alrighty class to refresh your mind, I am Ms. Dash and this is Flight class were you will learn how to fly the best you can." Said the teacher smiling. "Today will be reviewing what you learned last quarter and testing your skills. Up first today is Jeremy Gay." Once Ms. Dash called his name Jeremy came fourth and started the course. He made a carpet out of rainbows and flew through the course slowly but gracefully. He finished in 15 minutes and did a back flip when he landed. "A little slow but nicely done, next David Thunder" said Ms. Dash. And one by one Ms. Dash called every one else to do the course. David and Lasia were tied for the fastest time with 5 minutes. And Ashley did the course with the fewest flaws. "And finally Jessica Wildwind." Called Ms. Dash Jessica came forward and gulped.
Jessica's Pov
You can do this, you can do this. I thought to myself as I tried to lift myself into the air. I slowly went up and I tried to go forward but was stuck in place. "What is she even doing, swimming, she looks like a fool". I heard someone one the ground say. Suddenly I flew so fast every thing was a blur. I crashed into almost everything and when I finally stopped, I fell down and crashed into a group of people. "I see we will need to work on you control Ms. Wildwind." Said Ms. Dash with a frown " Alright class that is it for today, go back to your dorms to do your homework until dinner." That was sooo embarrassing.
Narrator Pov
Jessica got up and sighed. She started back to her dorm when she heard her name being called from behind. She turned around to see Cailey Ocean waving to her and running towards her. "Hey Jessica, how was your first day here, well after swim class?" asked Cailey smiling. "It was...interests to say the least." replied Jessica. Just then the intercom came on ' Cailey Ocean, report to the mission office. Cailey Ocean report to the mission office.' Jessica was confused "What is the mission office? she asked. Cailey smiled and said "Why don't I show you, come on." Before Jessica could respond Cailey grabbed her hand and pulled her as she ran to the other side of the school.
