I continue searching for Daniel and ignore the couple making out. I don't know where I'm going but I end up in this big hallway.
I eventually find my way back in the kitchen. The same couple is still in the kitchen making out. Everyone is everywhere around the house, Daniel can be anywhere in this huge house.
I continue looking around the house and find the bathroom. Of course he's not here, great.No one is using it, this girl rushes inside the bathroom out of no where with a drink in her hand. She looks drunk and seems like she was about to fall.
"Uh...are you okay?", I ask
She slams the door, "yeah I'm okay"
"Okay...",I say. That was super random.
I look around the house for some more, I can't find him.
I go outside to check for him, Zach's backyard is pretty big. There's a pool, hot tub, fireplace, and a grill.
Some people were swimming in the big pool, a couple in the hot tub, and people just chilling
Daniel isn't there, at this point I just give up looking for him and decide to call him.
He doesn't pick up, I call him multiple times and he doesn't answer his phone.
I walk back inside the house and spot Zach with his friends chilling in the corner of the dance floor. I walk up to them and ask Zach where he last saw Daniel.
"I don't know, do you guys know where he is?", he asks looking at his friends.They all say no.
Zach looks at me, "aren't you supposed to be with him?"
"Yeah...",I say, he said he was going to the bathroom but hasn't came back yet"
"He was with us earlier", Zach says
"He was?", I ask
"Yeah, he left after a few minutes but didn't tell us where he was going"
I look around, "okay, I'll just keep searching for him", I say and walk away.
I see the stairs across the other side of the dance floor, I look to see if anyone is looking at me and I head up the stairs.
Upstairs is pretty big, there's a long hallway leading to the rooms.
I enter some of the rooms and no one is in the rooms, the game room was filled with boys playing video games.
I enter this one room I haven't checked yet, the door was closed just like the others.
I hear noise coming from the inside of the room I haven't checked yet, I knock and there's no answer.
I walk inside the room and see Daniel and Ashley, one of the popular girls in my school, making out.
They pull away and he quickly puts his shirt on, "y/n I-", Daniel says but I cut him off
"Why did you lie to me?", I ask. Tears start rolling down my cheek and I rush out the room
I rush down the hallway and stairs still tearing up, people are partying and don't notice me coming down the stairs.
When I'm on the last steps of the stairs Noah pops out of nowhere, "what's wrong?", he asks, but I ignore him and continue walking finding my way to the door.
I leave the party tearing up and look at all the parked cars outside. I realize I came with Daniel in his car and I don't have his keys with me, "fuck".
I find Noah's car and somehow open the door, I get in and close the door. I sit in the passengers seat and end up tearing up. It begins to pour outside.
I see Noah through the small mirror walking to the car. He knocks on the window and I look at him. He gets in the car, "are you okay, what happened?", he asks.
"I found him...", I say.
"Where was he?", Noah asks
"He was upstairs in one of the rooms making out with the popular girl in our school", I say, "He lied to me to make out with another girl, he left me worrying and waiting", I look down.
"I'm sorry", Noah says
"For what?", I ask
"I'm sorry that he did you like that, make you feel like nothing, lie to you, treat you horribly"
I look up and look at him, "you really deserve better", he says
"Noah...", I say and we lock eyes for a second
"I have been needing to tell you something for a while now", Noah says
"What is it?", I ask
"I like you as more than a friend.I like you...a lot"
"I feel the same way", I say
He leans in and we start to kiss, it feels so right...
He pulls away, "I-", he says but I cut him off
"No it's okay", I say.
I knew what he was going to say;"you're still with Daniel"
We continue kissing, maybe he is the one
After a minute or two, we pull away
I smile and he smiles too knowing we liked the kiss
"I guess we're officially a couple now?", I ask
He chuckles, "yeah"
