"Ah well then if you would come with me Miss Potter I will escort you back to your dormitory." She said, shocking Amy. She nodded and stood and walked towards the door. "Thank you Severus!" Sid Minerva as she left his office. "Miss Potter we are going to stop by my office and to talk about the real reason you were past cure few" was all Minerva said to her daughter until they got to her office. Minerva motioned for her daughter to sit down, before she sat down in the chair behind her desk."So would you like to explain why you are out of bed? And then why you lied to me again." Minerva asked softly and Amy gulped.
Normal P.O.V
"um" I began but stopped and sighed. I think it would better if I told the truth than to lie to her again, since she could practically see right through my lies or any that were told.
"I was headed back to my dormitory, when the stair case moved while I was on it. When it stopped I ran off it so it wouldn't move again. And I ran to the only door on that corridor." I began using the word I so that I wouldn't get my friends in trouble and it would make it out that I was alone.
"At the time I didn't retaliate it, but it was the 3rd floor corridor. And when I did finally realise it, I went to leave right away, I swear it, but mrs Norris showed up and I know Filch wasn't too far behind, and I really didn't want to get into trouble so I ran to the first door and unlocked it and slipped inside it." I said, tears coming down from my eyes, remembering every detail and almost coming to my worst worst fear. I began to shake. (THIRD PERSON P.O.V ) Minerva saw this and knew her daughter was telling the truth and she felt her heart drop seeing her daughters reaction and let it continue.
NORMAL P.O.V
"I waited until mr filch was gone and then I realised wh-wh-why the d-door w-was locked. Is tutted and began to shake more increasingly
THIRD P.O.V
Minerva was going to ask her to stop but Amy continued
"There was a giant dog in the room and and " Amy kept stuttering but tears came down her face.
"But after what the Dursleys did to you, your terrified of dogs, I understand you must be very scared" Minerva said calmly and stood up to comfort her crying daughter.
Minerva knelt in front of the chair and rubbed her daughters arms
"it's alright you don't have to say anymore, it was an accident that you went to the 3rd floor corridor. I think professor snape has taken enough house points from our house and I think you suffered from the experience enough" she started rubbing circles into her daughters back.
"Why don't yo stay here tonight and I will ask a house elf to make the Spare bed is that alright." Amy nodded and she pulled her to arms length.
They went to the guest room and Amy got into bed Minerva tucked her daughter in when she was about to leave a voice said to her "Professor" Minerva turned around "Would you stay until I fall asleep please" Amy asked shyly Minerva nodded and smiled " of course I will" she said and rubbed her daughters back while she sat in the chair. She smiled as she watched Amy fall asleep, Minerva heart was filled with joy she has her daughter back but Amy doesn't know tears of happiness came down Minervas cheeks. That night Minerva didn't sleep she sat beside her daughter all night watching her little frail body move when breathing.
