Harry woke up in a bed, in what he was sure was the hospital wing. As he looked around he saw a table with a large amount of candy, cards and flowers on it. His eyes went wide as professor Dumbledore came up to his bed.
"Good after noon,Harry" he said then seeing that Harry was looking at him and then went back to the sweets he chuckled" tokens from your admirers." He explained
" Admirers?" Harry asked confused
" what happened between you, your sister and professor Quirell is a complete secret, so naturally the whole school knows." Dumbledore said"'Ah, I see your friends Ron and Joanne has saved you the trouble of opening your chocolate frogs." Ron and Joanne was here ? Are they all right? What about Hermione and Stacey? And, and is my sister alright because she looked horrible and, and they duelled and he aimed a spell at me and she jumped in the way oh god it's all my fault she's hurt." He said quickly and very concerned about his friends and big sister. "Fine, fine there all just fine." Dumbledore said leaving the part of where Amy's manage to return from the dead and some other close calls over the few days since the incident.
"but what happened to the stone?" Harry asked and Dumbledore began to explain all about what he had discussed with Nicholas Flamel and all about how his mothers love and Amy's sacrifice had saved his life. After their discussion, Madame Pomfrey ordered harry to rest before he can leave, and Albus went to the room at the back where it is occupied by his daughter. Minerva sat beside the bed holding on to Amy's hand as if it were the only thing keeping her alive. She told us Amy will have a concussion and will need help to walk again to get her strength back because of the nerves that were severed and the broken limbs.
Albus sat on the other side of my watching her even breaths and glancing at Minerva who never once let go of Amy's hand, nor looked away from her.as he sat there Albus realised that Minerva blamed herself for their daughters current state. "Minerva" Albus said quietly , Minerva turned her head to look at him. "I know you blame yourself my dear, but you mustn't, you didn't know this would happen, it wasn't your- "
" No it was my fault! They told me someone was going to steal the stone and that WE had to do something. But I dismissed them, because I thought 'They couldn't possibly be right, There just children!' So yes, Albus, it was my fault, it is my fault." Minerva raised her voice.
She wasn't mad at Albus, she was mad at herself. She was thinking of everything she could have done differently that could of changed the outcome of that night. Albus was watching her, knowingly she was mentally beating herself up because of this. They had to go and get ready for there classes and meeting and other things they had to do and left there daughter.
