Lord Aiden's POV

UGH! Idiots you pay people good money to do their job and they can't even do it properly. On top of that I ask specifically not to be interrupted tonight so that I could acquainted with my new pet. I guess if I want something done from now on I'll do it myself. She's quite lovely, my pet. Just the right amount of feisty any less she would be dull but any more and she would be a pest. Quite easy on the eyes too and the outfit she had on left little to my imagination.

Mmm the things I would do to that girl. Though all in good time. I may be cruel but I would never force myself on an unwilling lady. I'm interrupted from my thoughts by Felix.

"Master, I have taken Ms. Carter to her room and lock the door from the outside. Also The Gard is requesting your presence on the fifth wing." He mumbled. Oh I do love the fear I invoke in him.

" Good Felix. Send word to my dear sister to have my pet ready early tomorrow morning I have business to attend to and I would like her company in doing so. Also do bring a plate to me lovely pet she didn't get to eat before we were disturbed." I spoke in a hast before rushing to gather my things.

"Ye-sss s-iii-rrr." he stuttered.

"NOW!" I roared. Which caused Felix to scramble to throw various items of food on to a plate for me darling pet. Good I'm in no mood for slowness. I left as soon as he starts gathering the food. Making my way to The Gard, The Gard is a group of elite fighters the has been in my family for generations. Essentially the are humans but the are given small amounts of my blood to make them stronger and fast. To make them better fighters. They have protected my family since before I was born. Which is a really long time 3000 years to be exact. The leader of The Gard Antonio Ramirez has been my friend ever since World War 1. He was my battle buddy. We lost contact after the war then one day he appeared on my door step bloody and half dead. I took him in and healed him and made him head of The Gard.

The walk to the fifth wing was quite short especially being a vampire. You tend to get places a lot quicker. I arrive at the large double doors and push them open and reveal a large lit room which held some of the worlds most advanced technology. In front of a wall of high tech computers I see Antonio swiping through images of what appear to be a pack of wolfs.

"Antonio? What this I hear about a breach in our wards?" I ask.

" Pack of werewolf's crossed our land at the west gate. Apparently they are new to the area and were informed that they have to make their presence know to you from another pack. The only thing the pack failed to inform the of was they aren't supposed to cross your territory with out permission so it set off the wards. Nothing to be concerned about. I already spoke with them and arranged a meeting on your behalf." He spoke so softly it always surprises me the fact his tone can be so docile and yet he can still intimated the life of new recruits.

" Thank you, Antonio. Well if there are no other pressing matters. I will be returning to my new pet." I informed him.

" New pet?'' He asked amused.

"Yes, a new pet. " I told him just a tad bit annoyed.

"You haven't had a pet in years. This one must be special. " he said.

"oh she is. Special indeed. Now if you'll excuse me I would like to get to know her." I said as I walked away.

"Just don't break this one~!" he called but I was already gone. Headed to my beautiful pets room.
