"She's getting away!" A guard yells.
I scurry around, running in zig zags so they would get lost, and knocking people down in the process. As I was running, I realize that I'm near a cliff. A dead end.
"Shit." I mumble.
I was trying to figure out a new route before they could get here, but it was already too late. 5 guards surround me.
"There is no where to go, surrender or die."
I step back, causing the guards to slowly take a step forward. I look off onto the edge of the sea, the waves crashed into one another as if the sea gods were furious. I take another step back.
"So long assholes." I yell and slip off the cliff.
Looking up, I see the beautiful blue sky turning into a dark gray color. I quickly close my eyes as the waves engulf me deeper into the ocean.
Finally coming up from the water, I quickly swim to shore and hide behind a cave. Looking around I spot my brother, Junyoung. He notices me and comes towards me placing a hand on my back.
"Did you really jump off a cliff?!?" He half screams and half whispers.
I cough, trying to get the water out of my lungs.
"That was fun." I chuckle.
Junyoung looks at me like I'm a lunatic. "You're crazy," he says, "Did you get what we came for?"
I nod and pull out the small, yet valuable artifact.
"I present to you the queens ring." I say bowing, holding out the object.
Junyoung grabs it out of my hand looking at it. Jewels such as diamonds, rubies, emeralds, and any other mineral worth a ton were placed onto the ring.
"We're going to be rich!" He yells, jumping up and down.
"Be careful, we can't ruin it."
He nods and puts it in his pocket, "Let's go give it to her."
I quickly put on a different shirt and pants, trying to make myself look different from before. Junyoung hands me a scarf and I place it around my head. We walk to find our dealer. As we walk around, we find the place; an old run down shop. Looking around, I nod to my brother before opening the door, making sure no one was watching us. As we enter the shop, the lights flicker on and the owners smile at us. Junyoung pets the black cat that they own.
"We got what you wanted Mrs. Han." I smile, as Junyoung places the ring onto the wooden counter.
The husband, Mr. Han, quickly puts on his glasses, picking the jewel up and eyeing the object.
"Well done, children. Since you gave us what we wanted here you go." The man said and grabs a pouch filled with coins and a wooden, yet elegant, box.
My brother grabs the pouch and looks in it with wide eyes, as I grab the box curiously.
"What's this?" I say placing my hands on the carvings of waves in the wood.
"Ahh, only open that when you are in trouble." The woman said smiling at me.
I nod and thank the lady.
"Be careful young ones, especially you Y/N." The voice fades as we exit the shop.
Narrator POV:
"Are you sure this was the right time to give her it?" The man asks.
The woman nods.
"Of course, after all that she did, this the beginning to her journey." She says and grabs the ring and places it in a jar that's filled with other riches.
"Farewell Y/N , May your hardships guide you to the seas."
