Thousands of years ago, in some uncharted solar system, there was a planet. The planet itself was very rich in its natural resources and filled to the brim with plant life, and a perfect balance between ocean and land. There are also other life within the planet from the biggest of giants the size of small mountains to the tinniest of bugs the size of your finger nails. But there is one species that stood out amongst others.
Nimnoids.
Inexplicable warriors of tremendous power, able to adapt to and overcome any and all situations and have the power to summon any creatures they defeat as allies, and in some cases, gain their abilities. They also have an obsession with getting stronger and is undyingly loyal to those that they consider friends and loved ones. Standing at 7 ft tall, their appearance resembles that of a very muscular human, with reddish skin that has cracks running along forming rune-like symbols and pale white hair. Since they are obsessed with training their eyes are covered up most of the time to hone their senses. But when they are not it glows a bright white color. The brighter they are, the stronger. They are also covered with natural armor plates that's as hard as diamond at their vital areas like the head and chest, that's not including their super hard, steel-like skin.
Forgot to mention the 20 ton weights they have on their person at all times.
Although they are undefeated in battle and live long lives they are not immortal. So they are slowly and painfully dying out due to low fertility and birth rates that came from somewhere along their long lines of history. Millions became hundreds of thousands, then thousands. Soon the Great Elders got an idea. They would choose their strongest member and have him sealed in a stasis mode, then after they die out he would hopefully be unsealed in time to be found by some other intelligent life out in the universe, whom would then start repopulate with him to bring back the warrior race. A stupid idea? Yes, will it work? Probably not, but it's the only one they had on mind at the current moment.
So, they went ahead with it and got Y/N, their most powerful member to date. Y/N is a young Nimnoidian at the age of 188, he is 7 ft tall and has a very slim build compared to everyone else his age, giving him a scrawny appearance. But that did not fool anybody, for the muscles tightly packed under his rocky skin is strong enough to turn small mountains into pebbles. He protested at first, not wanting to be the last one standing with the conscience of knowing he had no one else. But eventually gave in to the pressure.
The preparation for the seal took a whole month, and at last, the day for the sealing. Many friends and family came to see him off. The parting words... were somewhat pleasant.
"Good luck Y/N, I hope that we can see each other again. Preferably as your son. Heh."
"Bye big brother! See you soon!"
"Alright, lil' bro! Make us proud, our race depends on you."
"Good luck in your future endeavors, son, I hope when you awaken, your life would be filled with great challenges that surpasses your limits!"
"It has been my greatest honor to become your friend for these past few decades, Y/N, I will miss you dearly"
And few more others were said. Then one of the Great Elders spoke up. "The seal is ready Y/N."
A nod of the head is all the Great Elder needs to know. The sealing takes place on the side of Mansfail Peaks, a mountain of extraordinary heights that surpassed the clouds where their first Ancestors were born. Standing at the altar Y/N took off his blindfold and looked around him, his eyes shining like a supernova, burning through the darkest of times. But that didn't deter his audience. He opened his mouth and prepared to give off a speech that would be the last they'll ever hear of him.
"Sisters, brothers, friends, and family," he began, His voice young but have a certain gruffness within. The voice carried through all remaining 1387 Nimnoid population, whom all had their blindfolds off to see this historical event. "All of you have been my family, and that is the most tremendous thing to ever happen to me. So, Please, do not think of this as a goodbye, because a farewell is necessary before we meet again, and we will meet again, be it within years or lifetimes, that is a certain."
Turning to the Great Elder Y/N gave him a look of resolved determination, his eyes burning even brighter than possible. "I'm ready, Great Elder." A firm gesture of acknowledgement followed soon after.
The moment he put on the blindfold the Great Elders started chanting in an ancient language lost to time. Then, a piercing blue light shot through everyone's vision, almost blinding several. When the chaos died down, all they could see where Y/N once stood...
Is a statue...
