Wrong Place Wrong Time

The Arrival

I open my eyes to see that we were at another gas station and no one was in the car but me. I look around as i take my headphones out to see no one around the car and i noticed a sign to my left that reads WELCOME TO CHICAGO. I put my head in my hands and said i'm really here, i can't believe this had to happen to me. While looking around the car door opens and it's my mom dad and brother getting back in the car. My dad said "welcome to my hometown son, you in Chi-Raq" i smiled at him and say yeah i guess dad. As we leave from the store and pass the sign i look around and look at all the building and reading the graffiti on the walls. we came to a stop while i was reading the graffiti and my dad cut the car off and looked back at me and said were here. I blew my breath out and jumped out of the car and poped the trunk to get my suitcase. I wheeled my suitcase up the my aunts doorstep and my dad knocked on the door. my aunt took forever to come to the door and while waiting on here to come my mom and brother got out and walked to the door.

My aunt must of saw us through the peephole because she didn't ask who is it or nothing. she slung the door open and hugged my dad and looked at me and said yu must be Justin. I said yep that's me, the one and only. She grinned and pulled me in for a hug while she was still hugging my dad. She looked up and saw my mom and brother and she pushed my dad out the way and said hey lisa how are yu and kayden you are getting so big. I asked can i bring my suitcase inside please it's kinda heavy and i have a lot to unpack. She looked and me and said of course baby my house is your house, your family make yourself at home. I gave her a big hug and said thank yu auntie , and i wheeled my suitcase inside. Looking around my aunties house i thought to myself " I think i'm going to like it here". Her house is huge and my first thought is to look in the fridge and i see every snapple in the world in the fridge and it's is packed full of food. I looked in the pantry and seen every snack i could ever want and i close the pantry door and brought my suitcase to the front room and went back to the pantry and grabbed some hot cheetos and a snapple out the fridge and i walked back the the front door and they are still talking.

I walked outside and my dad said " where yu get chips from" I looked at the sky then behind me and said what chips as i put them in my pocket and my aunt said " leave him alone he can have whatever he want". I pulled the chips back out and said thank yu auntie and my dad said " i thought yu didn't wanna come soon why all of a sudden your mind changed". i looked at him and said it's time for a change it's really nice here. i hugged my mom and brother and said i will see yu at the end of the summer and i hugged my dad then me and my auntie walked back inside. I asked her how is it down here and she told me she loves it. she told me school not out yet here and that there is 3 more months and she gave me a house key and said view the neighborhood tomorrow and try and have fun loosen up ik your dad is a stick in the mud. So i was tired i hooped in the shower and get ready for bed. I went to bed and set a alarm on my phone for eight o clock and i went to sleep.
