Last night was a restful night for me, couldn't stop tossing and turning and remembering seeing Shawn in his own blood. i woke up to the sound of my parents and i rushed to the front and jumped in their arms and told them how much i love and thank them for everything they have done for me. My dad and mom told me we love you too son go get your bags and let's go home. I ran upstairs to get my bags and i thought to myself what shawn said to me. As i walk back to the front with my bags i whispered to my mom what shawn said to me about his newborn son and she shook her head at me. I told her that's the least i can do is raise him. We left my aunts house and went to Shawns house to see his grieving mother m and she say she is not going to raise his baby. so i stepped up and said i am going to raise him. We got the baby and we headed back to houston.
Years go by and i'm older now with Shawns son that i treat like he's my own. i love the little man so much he looked just like his dad. I look at him and told him i will always watch over him and protect him no matter what and i will always be here for him no matter what. He looked at me and say ik dad i love yu. I say i love yu too son
