"Kill me."

"I've been driving for the last two hours but I don't recall complaining at all."

Ignoring his answer, I asked how much time was left before we'd reach our destination. Despite the signs along the roads, I still couldn't figure out where we were headed to. The moon was up, shedding light on the empty road and inside the car, allowing me to admire Taehyung's right profile. His eyebrows were slightly furrowed, a sign that he was focused. From time to time, he would lick his lips and make them look even more kissable.

"I can feel you staring (y/n)."

Blushing as usual, I looked away. Tired, I lazily let my head fall on the top part of the passenger seat, relaxing as much as the crowded space allowed me to.

After all those weeks, it was still snowing outside. The snow was coming down in small flakes; almost imperceptible. I liked the calm atmosphere this weather brought upon the streets. Being with Taehyung only increased the soothing feeling, making it easier for me to rest and doze off.

"A farm?" were my first words when Taehyung woke me up, forcing me to leave the car because we had finally arrived "Wait—yours?"

I turned to the tall man who smiled, watching the small country house that looked a bit old yet well kept. It stood in the middle of a farm property with a huge barn a few meters behind. Quite unexpectedly, the snow wasn't falling there. It was cold but dry.

"This is the place where I grew up." The familiar deep voice echoed right behind me. "I never came back since my grandma's death."

The memories of this place plunged Taehyung in a state of melancholy from which I decided not to disturb him. Without further ado, we picked our bags and walked to the house. Taehyung gently took my hand and led me inside, giving me a small tour of the place.

"You're the first girl I let in."

"Such an honor!"

Taehyung giggled, causing me to smile with pride as if I had just said the funniest joke ever.

"Come on, let's have some hot drinks and rest for a bit."

To enter the small and old kitchen, we had to bend down. Taehyung told me how short his grand-parents were, which explained the size of the room. His grandma would cook on the floor, sitting there for hours as his grandpa worked in the plantations. She used to be in charge of the livestock, feeding and healing them whenever she needed to. They also had two horses, both dead after Taehyung and his family left for Seoul.

"The place is clean. I thought it'd be dusty at least."

"My mother visits the country house when she has the chance to. It's hers now that her parents are gone, she lived here her whole life before my father decided to work in the city. I think she likes this place better, but she won't ever admit it."

Taehyung wouldn't usually talk about his family. He did once or twice to mention where he has grown up or how his grand-parents were the kindest people on earth, but nothing too deep. For a reason, I felt flattered and endeared; Taehyung trusted me enough to reveal his feelings.

"I'm sorry but this place might be boring. TV doesn't work and the weather is too cold for us to hang outside. I just wanted to spend some time here, with you."

In a rush of affection, I grabbed his hands and pressed them lightly. "I don't care, I always have fun as long as I'm with you!"

Suddenly aware of my actions, I quickly took my hands off his, forcing a smile to avoid embarrassment. However, Taehyung—who seemed more than fine with physical affection—took ahold of my hands and placed them on his face, gently kissing the palm of my hands. At that very moment, my heart was about to jump off my rib cage.

"I love you so much (y/n), you make me so happy."

I froze, staring at him, dumbfounded. Love, he said. Love is such a strong, powerful word. Taehyung was smart, he wasn't the type carefree type when it came to words. As a matter of fact, I had no reason to doubt him.

Now is the time, I thought. Kim Taehyung freaking confessed again, this time with even more powerful words. I had to say it back. Taehyung had been nothing but kind to me, he'd always care for me and make sure I felt good. Although I only knew him for two months, it was the first time anyone would dedicate themselves to me. He made me happy, cheerful, in love. He was too good to be true yet there he was, caressing my hands and saying he loved me. This man deserved the world, and I wanted to give him everything I could.

So, for once in my life, I decided to listen to my heart instead of my brain. I ignored my insecurities and stopped making assumptions about how Taehyung would hate my body if he ever saw it. I, as well, deserved to be happy.

"I love you too Taehyung." I said, looking him straight in the eye. I saw his dark orbs glowing, causing me to smile. "I want to be with you, always."

The next second, I felt his soft lips crashing on mine. I closed my eyes, savouring the feeling of our lips colliding. The kiss soon turned intense. Taehyung took the chance to slip his tongue and from that, our tongues were dancing together. It felt good, overwhelming and satisfying.

When were both out of breathe, we broke the kiss as Taehyung's forehead rested on mine. His loud breathing matched mine, showing how passionate the kiss was.

"If only you knew how long I've been waiting for this." his delicate voice whispered "Also, was that really your first kiss?"

I rolled my eyes, unable to stop smiling while I sat back on the cold floor. "It was."

A proud smile crept up his face. "Good, because you won't have to kiss any other man. Ever." he poked his cheek "I'll be your first and your last."
