My new look

After the deep speech of the lion, we left the cave. When we were out of the cave I asked: "what does she mean by transformation, do I look different?".
Starring at me she said, " why don't you see for yourself". Stepping aside to reveal a beautiful mirror with a golden frame swirling with different patterns. I stepped up to the mirror and gasped at what I saw. My hair had turned a bright orange overnight and my eyes had turned golden, looking as though flames danced inside them. Not only that flames pattern had formed on my arms. Turning I felt my back; two lumps had formed where wings would be. I cried. Andressa who seemed to not know what to do said: " don't worry, once you can control your powers you can change back to your old self." I stopped crying at this and studied myself more carefully in the mirror. I looked kind of pretty. I let out a sigh. "So then how do I control my powers," I said confidently.
Andressa finally smiled and said "this way". I followed her through a small path in the middle of a dense jungle. On the other side was a huge dessert area covered in intense-looking training equipment. We walked till the very edge of the area, there were about 8 or 10 children. "This is where you start level 1," she said. In front of me was a huge rough pillar that looked as though it had been pulled out of the side of a mountain. "Climb" she ordered, I stared up the pillar ominously looming over me. I gulped. Slowly, I inched towards the pillar and put one foot on the wall. My muscles began to burn as I pulled myself, higher and higher. With one last shaking pull, I sat on top of the pillar, breathless. After I caught my breath I called down "now what".
She looked up with a sly smirk and said "jump". I stood silently with my jaw hanging open. Jump, if I jumped I would surely die on impact with the ground. But I trusted her. With a deep breath, I jumped forward off the pillar. My body began to heat up and a loud whoosh sound came from above. Slowly, I cracked my eyes open. I was floating just above the ground. Looking down at my hands I let out a cry which sounded like a bird, they were gone, my hands had disappeared. Andressa looked up at me with a smile. I craned my neck to see the small children jumping around with excitement. Once again I closed my eyes and tried to reach the floor, my body cooled and I felt my bare feet touch the ground. I was about to sigh when I was tackled to the ground by a group of tiny children chanting "phoenix". After the children resisted I stood to find Andressa's stoic grin once again. Suddenly, her face turned back to stone as a loud horn sounded.
