POPS

(I feel like this one is a bit longer but I do hope you enjoy and again let me know if you have any request it doesn't have to be related to Riverdale I'll update every other Wednesday but it might change due to my schedule also plz comment and vote if you want no pressure )

Jughead Sat at Pops after school his  drinking coffee and typing at his computer he sat at his usual booth, the bell attached to pops shop rang he looked up from his computer as the raven-haired princess walked through the door their eyes meeting each other 

"Hey Jones" she smiled and walked towards his booth "Lodge" he lifts his mug in greeting she sat down in front of him and sighed "I didn't think you'd come did you get held up somewhere" Jughead looked at her waiting for a response she rolled her eyes and opened her mouth about to speak but pops bell had yet rung again 

Cheryl had walked into pops and looked  around"It's the Queen Bee herself" Jughead nods in Cheryl's direction and sips his coffee Cheryl walks by them and sits down in an empty booth veronica turned around in her seat "Oh god," Jughead let out a slight sigh "Should we invite her to sit with us..?" 

She shrugged "I mean She has been through much lately Jughead turned towards Cheryl "Hey, Blossom... Wanna sit with the losers today?"Cheryl turns around "no thanks, I'll just drink my milkshake and go"Mm guess not" Jughead sips his coffee "Just trying to be nice..."

"At least you tried what are you working on?" Veronica leaned in towards him "Just finishing up my article on Jason... Finalizing details and whatnot."

"Cool what you got so far" Veronica orders a milkshake Jughead opened his computer back up and slides it towards her "Take a peek if you'd like" she grabbed his computer reading his story "Jones this is... It's amazing I don't even know where to start" He chuckled and shrugged, not used to common praise "It's alright, just an article."

"No Jug! this is mind-blowing you should publish this if you want I have some connections" she took a sip of her milkshake  "I was thinking of the Blue and Gold, maybe." He scratches at his chin "But I'm not sure..." 

"I mean if that's you want, go for it Jug this story needs to be told" Jughead took another sip of his coffee"More importantly Jason's story... He doesn't have a voice anymore. He should be spoken for" Cheryl turns around hearing Jason's name "Jughead" Veronica points in Cheryl's direction He looks back at Cheryl but she quickly  turned around I think we should be silent bout this"Yeah your Probably right ..." 

He closes his computer placing in his bag and leaving money for both his coffee and Veronica's milkshake "Wanna head out?" veronica raised a brow "I thought I was paying" he shrugged "Next time I guess" she smiled "so where are we going?."  

"Uhm... Where'd you want to go?" she bit her lip in thought "How bout where it all began...Sweet water River"Jughead paused thinking "Sounds good to me. Up for a hike.?" he looked at her "You want to stop at your place for shoes?" she smiled at him "I think I can manage they walked out of pops now outside they made their way towards Sweet Water River.
