"Congrats love on graduating" my dad says as he hands me a bouquet of flowers
Honestly didn't think this day would come this fast as it did
"Thank you dad" I say as I go greet my mom
"My babygirl is leaving the bird nest" she says hugging me
My mom and I are super close and to be leaving for college is going to make it hard, especially for her
"Thank you mama I wouldn't have did it without you guys" I say tearing up a bit
"Don't cry baby" she says hugging me again
*Restraunt*
"I just want say congratulations to my handsome son lonzo and beautiful daughter leilani, you guys are now going out to the big world and leaving the birds nest" my mom Tina says
"Your going to make me cry" Lonzo says laughing as he hugs her
She gets so emotional on occasions like this I can't even imagine how she's going to be when melo graduates
"So where do you plan on going to college and stuff" Ashley asks me as the food gets to the table
"I honestly don't know, like I wanna go to UCLA but there's so many other colleges that are out of state. I just don't want to leave my mom and dad behind you know because lonzo is staying"
"Do what's best for you, wether that's staying here or leaving you know we support your decisions" kellie says with Ashley agreeing
I'm so scared to leave because I'm leaving everything and everyone behind but I think my best option would to be doing that I just don't know how there going to respond

"So do you plan on leaving or staying here" lonzo says walking into my room
"I wanna leave to be honest" I say without holding it back
"Well little sis if that's what you want I'll be happy for you but just know UCLA going to kick whoever's schools basketball team" he says laughing
Lonzo can never take anything seriously, surprised Denise has put up with it this long
"I just know dad is going to be mad but like UCLA is a good school but if I'm going to make it I gotta leave the place that started it" I say
We talk for about an hour before I head to bed
I'm scared how there going to react especially my dad he's going to be hurt
It's been so long since I've written anything but I'm getting there so bare with me lol
