My lids feels heavy but I want to open them desperately. My eyes adjusted to the light coming from the outside and gently closed it when the rays of sunshine from my open window overwhelmed me. I moved but then I can't and when I fully opened it, two pairs of sleepy eyes greeted me. His arm and legs wrapped around me that kept me in place. His addictive smile bathes me with warmth.
“Good morning sunshine!” Vice kissed the top of my head and then gazed at me. I blinked.
“Morning...teka, anong oras na?” I struggled to get out of his possessive embrace. Nakadagan lang naman ang hita niya't nakapulupot ang kamay niya sa maliit kong katawan.
“My body clock says 6AM. I want to sleep it feels so cozy in your bed.” nakasubsob ang mukha niya sa leeg ko and he's giving me soft sweet kisses.
“Yeah and I was surprised why you're in my bed!” huli na nung marelaize ko na dito nga natulog si Vice sa kwarto ko.
“You were drunk last night when Vhong returned. Mabuti nalang at good mood si lola kaya naging maayos na rin ang pakikitungo niya kay Vhong.”
“Wait, I was drunk?”
“Yeah and so I brought you home and we sneak in. Uuwi na nga sana ako pero sinabi mo I should stay. I'm just a man.” Vice chuckled and teased me. He brushed his knuckles to my neck, down to my shoulders and then to my chest and he blew soft wet kisses that left me hot and wanting for more.
“Vi..Vice...baka magising sila.” pag-iiwas ko sa mga halik niya.
“Don't you remember what happened last night? Baka nakaalis na sila ngayon.” he answered and my forehead formed creases, pilit kong inalala ang mga nangyari last night.
Flashback...
“Shit!” Vice looked at me apologetically.
“Ano na, patay na ba tayo?” inayos ko ang magulo gulo ko pang buhok.
“My gram is a bitch! I'm sorry sa ganitong sitwasyon pa niya tayo nakita.” He held my hands nervously at sabay kaming bumaba ng tree house.
“Lola!” Vice called, hindi pa kasi masyadong nakakalayo ang lola Miriam niya kaya hinabol niya ito pero parang walang narinig ang matanda, dire diretso lang ito sa paglalakad. Nakasuot pa man din ito ng heels at flapper dress. In fairness naman , kahit 60 years old na ay halatang malakas pa rin ito. At biglaa kong naalala ang Lola Lilibeth ko.
“Gram! Lola Miriam!” patuloy pa rin sa paglalakad ang matanda .”Jesus Christ!” Vice cried in frustration.
“Let her be nalang muna Vice. She caught us on that awkward situation at alam mo naman ang mga matatanda, sensitive, conservative, emotional!” I squeezed his hands.
“I know her! I don't want her to think ill of you! This is all my fault! Kung bakit nakalimutan kong patayin ang ilaw.” He sighed, exasperated but what he said got me to laugh out loud.
“Am I funny now to you?” Vice gaped at me. The jazz music on the background is becoming loud as we are getting closer to the busy crowd. Nadatnan naming nagbi birthday speech na ang lola ni Vice nung makarating na kami sa main venue.
“Natawa lang ako dun sa patayin ang ilaw.” Vice rolled his eyes and I laughed even more. The playful C.E.O is hilarious!
“Guys where have you been?” bigla namang sumulpot si Anne sa kung saan. May bitbit itong isang kopita ng alak at mukhang wala ito sa mood.
