She was the girl, yes the girl. The one I've always admired since 4th grade. She had short blonde curly hair, which emphasised her rather charming sea blue eyes, her bushy eyebrows and small lips. She had dimples deeply indented into her not so chubby cheeks. I just couldn't take my eyes off her, especially when she pouts her lips every time her friends say something totally out of her zone. I really wish I could speak to her, but I  couldn't. Not that I was shy or anything, its just.... You know what? You'd get to know as the story progresses.
Now, I watched as she graduated from high school. She was beaming with smile all over. Her smile, oh her smile, it warms my heart and makes me feel like nothings ever gonna go wrong. She was full of excitement, her adventurous spirit made her want to explore the world beyond her neighbourhood.
Then the scene changed. I was at her wedding, a glamorous one it was in fact. Her husband was the CEO of Multi choice group of companies, the largest in its vicinity and his opulence made him one of the most influential people in the society. I looked on as she gave birth to her first child, a boy, and christened him Maxwell. I was touched.
Then on that night, when the full glamour of the moon lit up the dark starless sky, I  sat on a small hill and watched her through the window, as she put her son to sleep and headed or the living room, pouring herself a chilled glass of grape wine and lounging unto one of the sofas, turned on the radio to listen to an old symphony of Beethoven, which had began to play softly in the background.
Suddenly the lights flickered but she remains calm on the sofa, oblivious to what was happening, yea because I knew. I could feel its presence, in fact I  could see it, but she couldn't, and my heart kept palpitating as it got closer to her. I wanted to save her but I  couldn't, why? Because i was dead.
Her classical stopped playing, she got up to hit the back of the radio, thinking maybe the fault could be from the batteries. But realising it wasn't, she placed it down and headed for the sofa she had been lounging unto, and just when she was about to sit she heard the clinging sound of utensils from the kitchen and quickly went to check it out  but there was nothing. She made her way back to the living room, taking a quick glance at the mirror screwed nearer to the bathroom, a figure in hoodie appeared standing behind her. She froze in her tracks and slowly turned to look behind her, the figure was gone. But back in the mirror it appeared again. Fear gripped every part of her body, and before she knew it, she was running away from something she couldn't see. Spontaneously, the air was filled with the voices of children chanting la la la  to the tune if an eerie song.
With the windows now closed and the curtains firmly drawn, the house became unusually quiet. Then breaking the silence of the night was a loud frightening shriek followed by an echoing thud. Her lifeless body lay on the ground with blood running down her cheeks from her horror widened eyes.
