"Liam, do you have any idea where you're going?" Gemma asks in a voice practically dripping with impatience.

He glances at her from the rear-view mirror and shrugs. Then his brown eyes shift back to the road, darting in different directions in uncertainty. "I actually have no idea." He confesses.

Gemma groans and I lean my head against the backseat window, feeling a headache begin to develop on the side of my skull.

You've got to be joking... I think in disbelief.

"There's no service out here either, I've already checked." Zayn says.

"Terrific." Gemma mutters, shaking her blonde head. Zayn tosses his now useless phone into the cup holder by his seat and I close my eyes.

We've been in the car for about 35 minutes now and from the scenery, it looks as if we're in the middle of nowhere. There's only trees, vast amounts of land and darkness; it's starting to resemble the set of a bad, horror film.

"Guys, it's really not that bad." Liam reassures us. "Think of it as an adventure, yeah? Besides, I think we're getting close."

Suddenly, the prominent 'click' of a seat belt unbuckling sounds, causing my eyes to flash open. I turn my head to find where it's coming from, just in time to see Gemma lowering herself down on the seat of the car. Then she shifts to lie on her side and rest her head next to my thigh, wrapping her arms tightly around her torso.

She moans slightly and her eyes flutter shut, making me furrow my eyebrows in worry.

"Alright there, Gem?" I ask hesitantly.

Zayn speaks up, answering for her. "It's her stomach-- she gets car sick."

"We'll be there shortly, Gemmy." Liam tells her again. "Just think happy thoughts."

Gemma nods her head in return, not saying anything. I smooth down her hair sympathetically and turn towards the window again, leaning my head against the glass.

Five more minutes pass rather quietly before Liam speaks up, catching all of us off guard.

"Aha!" He cheers. "I knew it!"

We all look ahead and spot some light in the distance, as well as other cars. I let out a sigh in relief and Zayn rolls down his window. "I can hear music." He claims.

We each follow his lead and soon all of the widows in the car are down. Sure enough, the thump of rhythmic bass could be heard, blasting through the countryside and filling Liam's vehicle with it's vibrations.

Butterflies erupt in my stomach and my mouth goes dry. I clear my throat noisily and tap on Gemma's shoulder.

"We're here." I inform her softly.

She nods and slowly sits up. "Good-- I need a drink."

Not sure how to reply to this, I force a smile and look away, feeling awkward and nervous.

We take an abrupt turn and then there it is, right in front of our faces: Philip's party.

The place he chose for tonight is a large, two story house that appears to be located on a farm. It's completely secluded, with no other people around for miles. The perfect area to do whatever you want-- go completely nuts and not even get in trouble for it. I assume this is why he selected it.
