Chapter 4: Tech Hunter

Five minutes before the explosion

Diviny and Marvel were still waiting for James, they waited for quite a while. They sat on a bench that was not far from the stage location, the place was surrounded by trees, therefore the area felt cozy

"Where is James anyway? it's been two hours since he disappeared" Marvel sulked as she folded her arms

"Stay calm Marv, He will absolutely come back to us" Diviny smiled beside Marvel

"Yeah, you're right- wait... did you just call me Marv?!" surprised Marvel

"W-Well... It's not really wrong right?"

"Heuuhh... whatever" Marvel looked away

Students were walking around, they seem to be having a festival. Marvel wasn't interested to see it

"Hey Hey! Marvel, let's check those tents, it reminds me of the school festival!" Diviny stood up and walked excitedly

"Yeah fine, It reminds me of those times too"

"Yea let's go!" Diviny walked to the tents first, leaving Marvel walking wisely behind

"Come on Marvel, you're so slo-"

Bhug... (SFX: hit)

"Ouch-" Diviny fell down, she hit someone accidentally when she was walking excitedly

"Hey! Watch where you going dumbass!" a guy with a huge body looked at her in rage

His friends came and surround Diviny, all of them were huge, some of them wore headbands, oddly, all of them wore in red

"Eh- Uhm I-I'm sorry" Diviny looked downward, she was a bit scared, she can't go anywhere because all of those guys surrounded her.

They look at her lab coat "You look like a nice scientist, why don't you come with us?" a guy smirked, not long after that, two guys behind her grabbed both of her arms

"W-wait, I don't want to, p-please, Ahhh help!" she wasn't able to escape due to her weak body

"Don't worry, we won't hurt you" the leader who wore a red scarf appeared in front of her, he was a bit smaller than the other.

Diviny was scared so she intended to scream for help, but before she could let her voice out her mouth was covered with a cloth so she could not scream.

Slowly her eyes began to glaze and then she fell into a deep sleep. Those people with a huge body took her away without Marvel knowing.

"Hey... Diviny slow down a bit, I can't catch up!" snapped Marvel in annoyance

Diviny didn't respond to Marvel's word, which made Marvel a bit worried.

"Diviny? Oy Diviny answer me... DIVINY!" called Marvel loudly

Diviny still doesn't respond at all

"Don't tell me she's lost too" panic Marvel

Knowing that, Marvel starts searching for Diviny anywhere around the food stands, but little did she know...

Boom... SFX (explosion)

An explosion occurred, the sound was too loud for her, it was probably near. And not just one she heard, but many in areas of MIT. After the explosion, several unknown soldiers appeared with full weapons equipment with dark red armors.

Dor... Dor... Dor...

The sound of gunfire pointing up, people who were nearby immediately screamed hysterically in panic.
