Part 4: flash backs

Kakashi pov

(Next morning)

I wake up slowly opening my eyes only to see darkness. I must have slept on the couch because im very uncomfortable. I take the book of my face. I groan and get up slowly walking upstairs to get changed. I open the door to which i thought was my room. To see (y/n) getting changed. "..." It was silent between us. I saw her blush and cover herself. "G-GET OUT!" I quietly close the door blushing. I just saw her in her underwear....This time i do open the right door and put new clothes on. When im done walk down stairs to see (y/n) in the kitchen. "...." she looks at me then away. "I-im sorry i-i uhhh didnt mean to..." i say looking away.

(Y/n) pov

I went to the kitchen to see if kakashi was there but wasnt. Just then i heard somebody walk in. "...." it was kakashi. "I-im sorry i uhhh didnt mean to..." I blush slightly before nodding. "Its oke you didn't mean to...." he sighs in relieve then walk to the stove and starts up the fire. "You kook?" He smiles under his mask. "I know a few things." He then proceed to put stuff into the pan it sizzling. I sat down in the kitchen watching him cook. For some reason I couldn't take my eyes off of him. To be honest he wasn't bad looking. The shape of his body was perfect and he definitely looked healthy. He caught me starring at him when he turned around. "Hallo?" He waved his hand in front of my face me loosing my train of thought. "You oke?" My eyes widen a little and i blushes a bit in embarrassment. "Y-yah was just day dreaming..." he nods and turns back round to his food. I look around his house this time getting a better glimpse of it. He had a pretty nice house. Not big but definitely not small either. His house looked very cozy, I wouldn't mines staying here forever. I look back at him, maybe i can strike a conversation? "So what are we gonna do with the training?" I asked since that was the first thing that came to mind. "Mostly basics since we need to know how much you already know. Maybe some chakra control..." he answered setting the food into two bowls. It smelled nice. He set one of the bowls in front of me. Even the smell of in made me drool. "Enjoy." He said starting to eat his own. I was hoping to get a glance of his face but before i got to he was already done eating. "...." i stare at him in disbelief. He tilts his head slightly confused. "HOW THE-?" He laughed and put his dishes away. I just started to eat and he was already done!

((Small time skip))

"Get ready (y/n), we are gonna go meet team 7 at the training grounds." Kakashi said getting ready himself. I just nod and put some shoes on and put a few kunai in places like my ankles or pockets. Im a bit nervous...i don't know all the basic stuff i used to do when i was at school here. I was probably to young to even become a genin... I feel so low and weak at the moment. I do remember some things tho. At least i hope i do. Kakashi looked at me for a moment. "Don't worry." He said before opening the door and walking out of the house me following him. It was like he read my mind. You could probably see it on my face. For all i know im a open book, people can probably read me easily. I need to change that. I need to get better and stronger. I do remember one thing now. I made a promise a long time ago to my father, Minato Namikaze, that i would protect naruto! To keep that promise i need to get stronger! I smile determinant and walked with kakashi to the training grounds where team 7 was waiting for us.

We arrive there to see 3 annoyed children. "Your late kakashi-sensei!" Naruto pouts. It made me smile slightly. He saw me and smiled running up to me. He then stopped. "...?" I looked at him confused. It looked like he was studying me carefully. "Is there something on my face naruto?" I asked tilting my head slightly. "I thought your hair was darker than this?" He asked putting his finger on his chin still studying me closely. I looked at him with a 'are-you-serious?' Face. "I took a shower naruto...you know when water falls down your body and you use something that is called shampoo?" I say sarcastically. He blushed slightly in embarrassment and rubbed the back of his neck. "R-right sorry (y/n)...." i smiled slightly and greeted the rest of team 7. "Actually i just noticed that too. Your hair looks way lighter." Sakura then commented. I nod. "Kakashi-sensei, what are we doing today?" He looked at naruto putting his book away. I wonder what that book is about.... "we are just gonna do some basics today since (y/n) is new here and well..." "She doesn't know them huh? Hn." I glare at sasuke slightly. But it was partly true... kakashi sighed.

Kakashi was making climb tree without using hands. I fell on my head so meany times i might just have a bump there. I sighed. I need to do this. Kakashi-sensei said it was for good chakra control, one of the more basic stuff that would definitely come in handy later on. I try again getting super close but just then i lose my control and fall down. "Ow!" I rub my head. Kakashi walked up to me. "Are you oke?" I nod. "Im fine." "Maybe you should tak-" i shake my head. "Im not going to give up!" I say getting up before concentrating on my chakra. I could feel it going through my body and slowly to my feet. I open my eyes and keep my concentration on my feet as i run to the tree running up. I almost slip but then get onto the branch sitting on it. "Yes! See? I can do it!" I cheer. Naruto jumped up and i could see a slight relief in kakashi's eye. I smile and give a thumbs up showing i was oke. I might act like a kid but who cares? I didnt really have a childhood...just then my vision became dark and i could feel myself falling down slowly. I try opening my eyes but for some reason my body didnt want to respawn. The last thing i know i strong arm catching me and warmth filling my body as i black out.

*flash back*

"Mommy mommy!" I run to my sweat mom hugging her tightly. She gave me an angels smile and asked "what is it dear? You seem so excited." I nod quickly jumping around. "Dad said he was going to teach me a awesome jutsu!" She stood up. "Oh really? And what is this jutsu called?" She asked grabbing my hand while slowly walking down a flowery field. I smile looking at her. "Multiple shadow clone technique!" She had a surprised face on her. I wondered why. "He said with that jutsu i can make this cool wind ball thingy!" I say tried to show her what i mean. She smiled again. "Oh? That seems really cool. I bet you will be able to do it in no time." I looked at her with sparkles in my eyes. "Really?" She nods and kneels down to me and holding my hands. "Yes and i bet you will be the strongest ninja ever!" She said smiling. Then dad walked over to us with naruto in his hands. "Hi dear." He said giving the baby naruto to mom. She looked at him playing with his hair. I looked at naruto smiling jumping up trying to touch him. So mom kneeled down again so i could see naruto better. I grabbed his hand. "Im going ti be the strongest dont worry naruto. And the best thing is, ill never leave you alone ! Because i will always be there to protect you!" I then look at my dad. "Dad! I promise that i will protect naruto! Forever and ever and ever!" He smiled and picked me up with ease. "You better!" He smiled showing his teeth.

Just then the flash back began to fade away. Everything becoming white as i slowly open my eyes.

"H-huh...? W-what happened?" I look around. I recognize this room...the smell of kakashi was here as well. I slowly get up and hear the door open. "Oh good, you're awake." He smiled under his mask but you could see it slightly. "What happened?" I asked holding my head feeling a slight ache. "We aren't really sure but you must have had a black out or something..." he frowned slightly. "Oh..." ah and im at his house...oke. "I brought you some water, but you should get some rest." I nod and take a sip of the water he gave me before laying back down. Before he left i called his name in a soft voice. "Yes?" I wait fir a second. "Do you...remember me...?" He looked at me. "Im not sure..." i nod and turn to face the wall, my back to him. I hear the door close before i feel my sleep take over my body...
