The day is going by far too slowly. Sophie is dressed for the occasion, in her orange shirt with a pumpkin on the boob pocket, her black button-up skirt, and combat boots. Angela dressed up too, which surprised Sophie. She didn't think she would want to come, but once Sophie mentioned Drake Bell Angela seemed excited. She did her makeup and everything, something Sophie had never seen her do. But it didn't matter to her. What mattered to Sophie was seeing Drake tonight.

Sophie glanced at the clock every ten minutes until it was 8:50 pm. Ten minutes until her true love was here to bring her to a party. His 1 following. His soulmate?

She shook her head. She was getting carried away. The night was far too young for her to start having these thoughts. What could happen tonight? Could she... lose it? Will she? Who knows. It was too overwhelming to think about.

Sophie could not tell if she was nervous or excited. Her leg bounced as she sat at her desk, but she couldn't help but assume she was excited. This was going to be the best night of her life. It had to be.

Angela was done getting ready and actually looked quite nice. She was wearing a red lingerie like top with ripped black jeans and heels. It was sexy, and it looked good for her. She did red lipstick to match and killer black makeup. She looked like a sexy devil. If Sophie liked girls like that, she would totally date Angela, but she's kind of a bitch sometimes. Personality is key.

A car pulls up outside. It was an old, rusty pick-up truck that looked like it might break down. It creaked as it was put into park. It definitely seems like a safety hazard, but what did Sophie care? It was Drake Bell's car.

He rolled down the passenger window as the girls walked outside. "Hey girls. Ready to party?"

Sophie and Angela climbed into the backseat. Drake seemed a little disappointed, but Sophie was just so overwhelmed. And with Angela here? They would get far too carried away. A little space would do them good.

The drive could've taken years and Sophie would not have cared. She watched Drake's face as he put on his directional, or got mad about being cut off, or a good song came on the radio. She just liked looking at his face. She was so in love with everything about him.

In what felt like no time at all, Drake pulled up to a luxurious home on the beach. It had three stories and Roman columns by the front door. Beautifully colorful flowers covered the front area of the house. It looked like something out of a movie. "Welcome to Josh Peck's house!"

Angela gasped at the realization. "Are you okay?" Sophie asks her.

"I have never been better," Angela replies. She was startled but had this silent confidence about her. What was her deal with Josh Peck? He was married, and he is definitely not the hot one. But whatever. More Drake for her.

They stepped out of the truck and let the valet take it. Drake put his arm around Sophie's shoulders and escorted the girls into the party.

The foyer was huge and open beside the people crammed in it. Everyone was dancing and had drinks in their hands. It was like a college party, but kind of on steroids. It was a fancy-ass college party with adults. Sophie felt like such a grown-up.

Angela grabbed Sophie's hand. "I'll meet up with you later. I have to go find somebody."

"I don't need your life story, Angela. Just go!"

Angela smiled and ran off. Sophie smiled too. It felt like they were finally friends and not just roommates.

Drake pulled Sophie by her hand, deeper into the party. She couldn't wait to see where the night would take them.
