4. Charlie

You woke up with Ermes looking at you from above, narrowing her eyes. "Oh, hi Ermes." You spoke, sitting up. Ermes kept her eyes narrowed, now sitting next to you and looking all of your body. Was she a lesbian too? "Why does Jolyne like you so much?" Those words shook you. Jolyne did like you, but you liked guys. Although, she did look very cute at times. "You know, Jolyne called me to check on you during your date last night. Good thing I did, because if I didn't you'd be passed out drunk and naked in some dickhead's small apartment." She sighed, holding your head in her hands. You then looked at her, holding her hands. "Ermes, i'm not straight."

The truth was, you had been lying to yourself and others for years. People in Arizona hadn't been the nicest to gay people, so when you found out you were a lesbian, you hid it from everyone.  The only person you could really talk to about gay stuff with was Charlie, your non binary friend. They had originally been male, but being apart of the male gender made them feel uncomfortable, the same thing for the female gender. Charlie and you met through their local job as a gas station employee, you would regularly fill up for your mom's uncle (who was staying with you two while his leg healed) and you saw that Charlie worked there. You soon became friends and started hanging out more. When you had moved to Florida, you were a bit sad because you had to leave them all by themselves, but they promised you that they would visit Florida. And today they were flying from Phoenix to Miami, so you had to pick them up from the airport.

Although that was happening today, what was happening now was Ermes looking at you with wide eyes. "So, do you like Jolyne or not?" You shook out of your daydream and nodded. To be quite honest, you did like Jolyne. She wasn't too clingy like Foo was, and her hair looked so silky. "I knew it. She likes you too, (Y/N)." You then sat up and walked to Jolyne's room, excusing yourself from your conversation with Ermes. You knocked on the door and a tired Jolyne came and opened it. "Hey (Y/N).." She yawned. "What do you need?" You held out your hand. "I need you to come with me to pick up my friend from the airport." She held your hand and nodded. "Just let me get ready first." You then went outside and waited for Jolyne.

After an hour long trip, you two arrived at the airport, looked for Charlie. Out of the corner of their eye, they spotted you and started running towards you. "(Y/N)!!" You turned around to see Charlie running up to you. You both hugged and Jolyne just stood there awkwardly. "Oh yes. Charlie, this is Jolyne." Charlie gasped. "Is this the same Jolyne that said you wanted to m-" You cover their mouth before they could finish. "Yes. THAT Jolyne." Jolyne's eyes widened. You all hopped in the car and drove back to Jolyne's house. As you exited the car, Charlie and Jolyne stayed in the car. You shook it off at first, but soon you grew interested.

Once Charlie and Jolyne came back inside, you noticed that Ermes and Foo were in the lounge room, waiting for something. "Ok, Ermes and Foo are gonna take me around. You two stay here." You nodded, sitting on the couch. Jotaro was at work right now, so it was just you and Jolyne. Jolyne sat down next to you brought her knees up to her chest. "Do you... wanna watch tv or something?" You looked at her, your pupils widened when she looked at you. "Sure." She shuffled towards you, laying her head against your shoulder. You then wrapped your arms around her, making her move closer.

You had completely forgotten about the tv, as you both were now holding each other. Feeling her warm body against yours made you tingle just a bit. She looked up at you, blinking. "I love you." You said softly in her ear, making her tingle. "I love you too, (Y/N)." She was so close... "So, are like a thin-" She cut you off by kissing you, her lips soft and heavenly. You wanted this to last forever, but she then pulled away for a breath. "Does that answer your question?" Your face was now a flustered mess, making her laugh. You grabbed a nearby blanket and placed it over both of you. You then hugged Jolyne closer to you, kissing her cheek.

The door then unlocked, Jotaro and this red haired man with a green suit walked "Hi, Mr Kakyoin." Jolyne spoke. Mr Kakyoin patted Jolyne on the head, causing her to retreat to your chest. "Who's your friend?" Kakyoin said, looking at you "This is (Y/N), my girlfriend." Hearing her say those words made your heart sing. You kissed her forehead and looked up at Kakyoin. "Well, it's nice to meet you. Jotaro and I will be in the study if you need us." He walked into the study, shuting the door behind him. You looked at Jolyne, who was now planting kisses all over your hand.

Then Charlie, Ermes and Foo busted through the door, Charlie falling face first on the floor. "They got drunk." Ermes said. "They got drunk on the first night? Charlie you're an idiot!" You said jokingly. They stood up and stumbled over to you. "I saw a cute guy." You nodded, looking at Jolyne. They smirked, stumbling into the spare bedroom. Jotaro then opened the door to the study. "Keep it down, you asswipes." You nodded. Ermes then went and looked after Charlie. Meanwhile Foo stayed with you and Jolyne. "What is a relationship?" She sipped her drink, staring at you. "Well, it's when you form a bond with someone." Jolyne explained. Foo then sat cross-legged on the couch. "Are we in a relationship?" Foo asked. Jolyne sighed. "No Foo, we're not in a relationship. But me and (Y/N) are." You blushed, hugging Jolyne closer to you. "I'm going to "sleep" now. Goodnight!" Foo then sat up and walked to her bedroom. You looked down at Jolyne. "Do you wanna sleep on the couch tonight?" She nodded, shuffling up to you. You then shut your eyes, slowly falling asleep with Jolyne in your arms.
