October 14th, 1985

7:57 pm.

Ring! Ring! Ring!

Yoo-Jin sprinted to her house phone, already knowing who it was. "Hello!" She answered with excitement. "Hey! Are you coming?" Min-Ae spoke from the other line. "Yeah, give me ten minutes. I'll be there shortly." "Alright. Everyone's here already, so hurry!" Yoo-Jin smiled. "Okay, okay! 'Cya there. Bye!" Min-Ae also let out a big smile. "Bye bye!"

Yoo-Jin grabbed her purse and hurried off to the forest. She grabbed an apple off the counter before she walked out, as she was hungry.  She ate it on her way to the spot they would meet up in.

8:18 pm.

As Yoo-Jin approached the three girls that were impatiently waiting for her she could hear the birds chirping and the scent of pine trees filled the air. She inhaled deeply, but before she could let that breath go, she heard Min-Ae call out to her. "Yoo-Jin!" Min-Ae called out, Chaeyoung and Dahyun called out her name shortly after. Yoo-Jin walked up to them, obviously excited. "Hi!" She smiled and waved energetically. Dahyun and Chaeyoung smiled and waved. Min-Ae did the same.

"So are we gonna go in?" Yoo-Jin asked the three. "Yeah, let's go! There's a whole bunch of rare flowers and birds and plants and..." Dahyun's list continued as they walked into the forest. Chaeyoung rolled her eyes, wanting Dahyun to be quiet. "Hey, why don't we enjoy the scenery? I mean, it's beautiful out here, isn't it?" Min-Ae tried to keep everyone happy and smiling. Yoo-Jin let out a smile. "Yeah, it really is quite calming out here." Chaeyoung responded, bitterly, like she would usually do. "It'd be even better if someone would shut u-"

"Hey, that's mean!" Dahyun frowned. Chaeyoung responded bitterly again; "Does it look like I give a single fu-"

"Hey, hey, hey! Calm down, enjoy the scenery!" Min-Ae yelled out, trying to keep the mood happy and calm. They argued and argued amd argued for what seemed like hours.

In the corner of Yoo-Jin's eye, she saw a flash of  what seemed like a black cape flowing in the wind. All the birds chirping and the pine tree scent seemed to fade away. Everything seemed to to turn to black. A sharp pain stabbed her arm and she let out a gasp. The pain began to spread from her arm to the rest of her body. She collapsed onto the ground and her eyes began to fill with tears. Through a blur of tears she saw a large silhouette of a person with a mask and a robe of some sort on them. There was one,
then two,
then three,
then four.
Five.
The numbers went on. They kept appearing and gathered around her. Tears started to slide down her cheeks. She tried to yell for help but she couldn't do anything but quietly choak out the word "Help." She tried again but it was even quieter this time. She continued until her voice couldn't be heard anymore. Her vision became foggy and slowly and she faded in and out of consciousness. She tried to claw her way out of the circle she was surrounded by, leaving scratch marks on the dirt. Her vision became foggy and eventually, she blacked out.
