Yeonjun slowly rose out of bed. The harsh light that was shining in made his head hurt. He confusingly felt around to discover no one was next to him. "Beomgyu?" He called out, looking for the male. He sluggishly dragged his soar body out of bed and reached for his ring, slipping it on his finger as he did every morning. He stood up, he's legs growing weak that they nearly caved in on themselves. He winced and caught himself on the bed, now taking his seat again. He needed a moment to gather himself as he remembered the almost too realistic dream. He saw the creature again, this time he was able to tell the outline of it looked like a giant animal, a cat to be exact. Not only that but it grew closer to him and spoke more then one sentence. Though what it had said didn't make any sense. It left Yeonjun confused and to ponder on the thought.
If given the chance to go back in time, would be really take it?
Oh well, it's not like that was possible anyways so there was no reason to dwell so much on it. Therefor he did his best to let it go and push the thought aside. Even if he could go back, he knew he wouldn't. He had a family of his own after all, and even though he did miss the past sometimes, he loved what he was gifted with. His son Sojoon, his daughter Jiho, and his wonderful husband and friend Beomgyu. He loved them all, and wouldn't trade them for the world. Even if he was able to bring him back.
Yeonjun now slowly walked into the living room where he saw Beomgyu reading the paper and eating breakfast he had made. Usually Yeonjun was the cook in the house, and even if Beomgyus meals weren't always edible, he loved the efforts he put in. He would take every bite with a smile, and always finish his plate. Even if the kids wouldn't do the same.
"Good morning." Yeonjun spoke softly as he kissed the top of Beomgyus head. He then took his seat across from him at the small wooden circle table and began to eat. "I had the weirdest dream last night." Yeonjun then spoke out. Beomgyu placed the paper down and now put his attention on him, letting the boy speak. However he wasn't even half way into his story before Beomgyu gasped as he realized the time. He shot up and quickly kissed Yeonjun before rushing to the door. "I'm sorry Jun, can you tell me later? I can't be late again." He spoke fast as he rushed, knowing he'd get in serious trouble if he missed his shift. Yeonjun just smiled and nodded though deep down he was hurt. Not because the boy had shushed him, but because he called him Jun. that name was what the other had given too him, it hurt so much to hear.
"Okay get going." Yeonjun forced up a giggle as he helped with the others coat. "But don't forget we're having dinner with my mom tonight. And then after that we're meeting with the others for our memories." He called as Beomgyu skipped down the porch steeps. He turned to wave to the boy who stood, leaning against the door frame. "How could I forget that? Seven years ago today we made a promise Jun!" Beomgyu called back. That name and number were now both ringing through his ears. Though he managed to keep his tears down so his husband wouldn't see. It was so hard not to cry, he already knew tonight was going to be emotional, he knew it would be hard to hold it in but he did his best.
Then he felt a small tug at the end of his shirt. He looked down to see his sons wide eyes and smiling face back at him. This helped him feel better, his kids meant so much more too him that they always filled him with love.
Yeonjun bent down in a squat and pulled Sojoon into him. He hugged, not to tight as he knew he was fragile. However he just needed a hug so bad. Not long after that, his daughter had came running in and now the three of them shared the loving embrace together. He promised a long time ago to always watch them closely, he was going to protect them with every bit of strength he had left. He knew he would never let them go.

Beomgyu had arrived back home from work and not long after the babysitter got there. They paid her upfront and then headed out. Yeonjun making sure to kiss each of the kids all over. Beomgyu giggled and rubbed up and down Juns back before helping him into the car. "You'll see them again tonight." He spoke up about the kids as he knew it was always so hard for Yeonjun to leave them. That was one of the main reasons he stayed at home while Beomgyu worked. Though Beomgyu would love to stay home with them all day as well, he knew Yeonjun needed them. So he made a sacrifice at let the other stay.
