Lost In A Dream

Last night I had a dream
The world was in a battle.
Bombs were exploding
Making the earth rattle.

Bullets went by
Flying.
Some were wounded.
Many were dying.

The number of survivors
Got down to very few.
That's when I started running.
I knew what I had to do.

As I pushed through the crowd, I could feel
The wind of the bullets as they flew by me.
But that was the last thing on my mind. All I knew,
Was I had to find you to tell you something.

When I finally found you, I had to say it
Whether it made things worse or better.
I had to tell you before I died
That I love you always and forever.
