I wanted to get a better look at Jamie's hangout, to see what was so fascinating, what was so intriguing about this haunted place. The only advantage that I could see was that there were no other houses around this one, just a blank, empty field. Perfect for privacy.

As I had started to walk around the house, now at the back of it, I saw a large hatchway, external cellar doors, both are metal and painted a now faded mahogany which blended into orange around the sides, showing how old the cellar is as well as the house since the door is in the same condition. However, around the doors are massive chains wrapped around them with a large padlock making them unable to move. The chains were starting to age as they looked weary, I slowly walked up to them and slightly tugged them to see if it would break.

That was my third mistake.

When I did, I heard a faint, muffled sound from inside the cellar. Thoughts started to fly in my head, just to see if it wasn't a figment of my imagination, I tugged the chains again but harder this time. And I heard the same sound, although it was still muffled, I could hear it clearly. It was a scream.

As my brows simultaneously furrowed in confusion and terror, a powerful arm had wrapped around me and grasped me tightly. I felt like I was in a bear trap. Firmly holding onto me and refusing to let go. While I tried to escape the confinement, a dirty cloth drenched in chloroform was slammed over my nose and my mouth. The disgusting, strong smell invaded my nose, stinging my eyes bringing tears to them.

I violently thrashed around, I tried to fight away this predator. I kicked as hard as I could. I screamed as loud as I could muster. I tried everything to try and be set free from this beast. But it was to no avail. It was too strong. Within five minutes my vision had started to darken as I fell into a heavy slumber of unconsciousness.

When I had awoken, the heavy scent of dried blood violated my nostrils, the disgusting, pungent stench was so strong that I thought I would lose the ability all together. My head started to feel dizzy from the stink, As I tried to get up my head began to throb, I felt a slight pulling on my neck, wrists and ankles as well as what sounded like coins being dropped.
