When Sophie set out to find her biological parents, she never expected this. She laid in her bed, sobbing.

"Hey." A quiet voice said from the doorway.

Sophie lifted her head ever so slightly to identify the figure entering her room. Biana.

"If you're here because of Fitz then-" Sophie started. Biana cut her off "I'm here to see if you're okay."

Sophie sighed and pulled her blankets up higher. "I'm fine."

"That's a lie." Biana said simply, sitting down on the edge of the bed "You are obviously not fine." Sophie groaned and pulled the blankets all the way over her head.

"We're going to have a girls day." Biana decided, throwing Sophie's blankets on the floor. Sophie grunted and curled into a ball.

"I don't want to get up." Sophie moaned. Biana ignored her and clapped, turning the lights on. Biana disappeared into the bathroom. Sophie heard the sound of running water and Biana humming.

Biana reappeared and grabbed Sophie by the arm. Biana practically dragged Sophie into the bathroom.

After much protesting and fighting, Sophie emerged from the bathroom dressed in a gold dress that complimented her eyes. Biana was wearing a teal dress that she had borrowed from Sophie's closet. (Sophie hoped Biana wouldn't return it. She hated that dress.)

---

They arrived in Atlantis around lunchtime. Sophie, even though she wouldn't admit it, was starving.

"Let's get some lunch and then go shopping!" Biana announced, pulling Sophie towards a little cafe. Sophie didn't protest and followed her.

Biana got them a table near the window. Biana ordered some weird smoothie thing, and Sophie ordered Mallowmelt.

"Where do you want to go first?" Biana asked, sipping her smoothie. "Mmmarghmah" Sophie replied, her mouth full of Mallowmelt.

Sophie swallowed her bite of Mallowmelt and said "I'm not sure." Biana nodded. They paid for their food and left the cafe. Biana took Sophie into a bunch of stores.

They ended up with a red dress, a loose fitting white shirt, and a purple skirt. Biana seemed surprised and quite happy that Sophie had bought anything.

---

Back at Havenfield, Sophie and Biana spent the rest of the afternoon dressing up and talking. Sophie didn't tell Biana who her biological mom was, and Biana didn't press the subject.

Later, after Biana left (She took the teal dress with her.), Sophie laid in bed, extremely confused. Biana was one of her best friends, but something felt different between them. She felt a deeper connection with Biana...

Sophie decided that it probably didn't mean anything. Right?
