Unexpected event

Everyone already left, everything was quiet and you were saying goodbyes to your friend. You still hated yourself for wanting to go, but it just seemed right. You were walking back to the balcony where you met the man earlier. You were just about to enter when it hit you. The whole shadiness of the situation. How idiotic your acting is right now. You quickly turned around almost sprinting away, when suddenly you heard something, well someone, from behind you. 

,,Leaving so soon?"

 You knew who it was. You turned around and saw the man leaning against the wall with widely smiling mask on.

,,Yes?" You said as you mentally slapped yourself. 

Moment after you said it, his mask somehow changed to a tragedy mask. ,,How?" You muttered. You were pretty sure you've been drugged or something.

 ,,Oh.....what a shame. I've been really excited to spend some lovely time with you, Y/n.'' There was an awkward silence. ,,But of course since you made your decision than at least let me walk you home. After all you never know what lurks in the darkness" 

You were sure he smirked.  And you were pretty sure it's some demon what just wants your soul.

 ,,That's very nice of you but I have to decli-" he didn't even let you finish. 

,,No, no. Dear Y/n, chances of some twisted being taking interest in such star are too high. I simply must" He said almost dramatically while he went to your side. You knew you had no choice so you started slowly accepting it.

 ,,Alright.......I suppose." You said and looked on the floor. 

,,Excelent!"

You two were walking next to each other, no one was near. To say you were uncomfortable was an understatement. You were sure, that you're going to die. But part of your mind was hypnotized by the man. 

,,Well, thank you again but this is where I live so I should probably go." You said awkwardly when you finally arrived home.

 Although, you must admit that it wasn't that bad. Whole way he was asking you about you and occasionally telling you a story and checking if you are paying attention. The problem is that everytime his masked changed you returned to thinking he's some monster.

 You noticed that he's not paying attention to you. He's looking into the house through windows. ,,Is everything alright?" You said as you stepped a bit closer to him.

 ,,....." No response. Ok weird, you thought. ,,Y/n, I do not wish to scare you, but I'm more than sure that someone's in your house" He didn't even look at you.

 ,,Wait wha-"

 ,,No time to waste, quick unlock the door, I will take care of it" 

You were suddenly so worried that you didn't notice his mask is again comedy mask. You unlocked the door and he immediately stepped inside your house, you waited few minutes outside before realising your stupidity. 

,,Did.....did I just let that shady as fuck guy inside?................Oh God I did.'' You were frozen in place. But something in your mind kept telling you to go inside, that it's alright. So you stupidly listened and went inside.

You neither heard any sound, nor saw any light. You started panicking a bit when you heard sound of liquid pouring in the kitchen. You slowly went there and turned on the lights. 

,,Oh Y/n, you just missed it, horrible monster really. You are lucky I was here. Although there is a big possibility that it may come back. I really think that for your own safety I should stay here.'' Did he just lie himself into your house? You were so confused. ,,I got you glass of apple juice you had in fridge." He said with a happy tone. And showed you the glass. ,,I'm just gonna.." he took your hand and made you hold the glass. ,,There, perfect!" He sounded very pleased with himself. 

,,Did you just tricked your way into my house?!" 

He made an offended gasp. ,,What? Me? No, no, no, no. I would never do that to you my dear Y/n,, 

You were pretty sure he did. ,,I'm pretty su-" He interrupted you again. 

,,Where are my manners, you must be really shaken up by the whole intruder thing. Allow me to just-" He said as quickly as possible and was even quicker at picking you up. ,,You really need some rest to relax yourself" You were speechless on one side he's quite charming on other side, what is even happening. After entering two wrong rooms he finally entered your bedroom and put you on your bed. 

,,You're not gonna stay here right?" You said as you sat up.

 ,,Shhhhhhhh" he said while making you lay back down. After that he put a blank over you. ,,You have nothing to be afraid of, I will be here to make sure you are safe" 

,,That's exactly what I'm scared o-" he again stopped you in middle of your sentence. 

,,I see you don't believe me, so how about I just lay down here, next to you." He didn't even wait for answer and immediately did so.

 ,,What?" You were so confused.

 ,,Shhhhh. Everything will be alright" he said while he put his arm around you. ,,You are safe here, you can rest without any fear." 

So many questions were running through your head. Mainly just ,,What?,, but it's not that bad. After all this is rather nice.  Something in your mind made you feel like this is right so it must be right.
