Heartless

Chapter 3

I was the last to exit the carriage. Everyone else was leaning on the prince and trying to win him over. He stood tall and looked super edgy as his hair fell in front of his eye (picture above). As I walked out he froze in the process of pulling Lucy off of him. He stared at me and I gave a warm smile. Lucy seemed to follow his gaze and got upset. She covered it and talked to him and that snapped him back to reality. The queen walked over and smiled the flawless smile only a queen could do.

"Welcome girls we hope you enjoy your time but before we start we need to set down. 1 any dissrespect to us can cost you in dismisal from the game. 2 if you have any outside relationships during the game you will be dismissed from the game and 3 any attacks to anyone will have you dismissed and put in prision for it." she paused "please find your rooms and if you do not like them signal you maid they will help you change it. Please follow Zander"

We all followed him down the halls to a hallway with doors. Each door had our names on them. Mine was at the very back farthest from people. Everyone walks to their rooms leaving me alone in the hall. Slowly opening the door I saw it was the same as mine. The walls were a pale indigo, there was a window seat and a book shelf filled with my favorite books top to bottom. A desk sat in the far left corner. Art supplies over flowed it. It was at that moment I realized this was going to be a great time.

A maid came in and asked if i needed anything. She also told me to get changed into a small blue dress. Great more dresses. I changed into the dress and was taken to a dining room. A long table filled most of the room. Men and women moved around carrying trays of different food. I made my way over and sat next to Selena and waited to see what the others did. Zander gave me a look and pointed at the drees. I shot him a look and watched the others dig into the food. I took as little as I could and ate as lady like I could. Zander chuckled when I messed up. The dinner went well until I got up and ran right into a raven haired butler. He smiled and picked up the tray. Panicked I raced out trying not to trip. Reaching my room I throw off my dress and changed into riding pants and a shirt then sat down to draw. I don't know how long I was there all I know is I was shaken awake by Zander

"wake up sleepy head it's time for school" a small grunt escaped my mouth. He chuckles and pulled out a paper from underneath my arms.

"Hey not bad" he admired the picture for awhile until I yanked it out of his hands a deep blush covered my face. There was a sketch of him. He laughed a bit.

"You awake now" he smirked I nodded

"why are you here"

"getting to know the others besides Lucy"

"why not Lucy"

"I'm best friends with her brother"

"that's a little unfair"

"Um how is it unfair"

"You knew her before she has a head start"

"what do you want a head start"

"maybe" before I could do anything his lips were on mine. They were soft and comforting. It lasted for two minutes maybe three minutes before he pulled back. He stared at me then smiled

"get ready ok" I nodded and got up. He left and I jumped up. Did that just happen. I changed into clean pants and left walking down to the dining area.
