New job who dis

He was sitting behind his desk with a smile on his face when he saw me. He got up and walked towards me.

He looked amazing with his blacked checkered shirt with black slacks and blazer. He looked so professional and he filled his clothes out so well. He kept his eyes on me the entire time he was walking towards me and I had to remind myself to breath.

With the biggest smile on my face, I opened my arms expecting him to kiss me and he nonchalantly extended his hand for me to shake.

I was taken back by his demeanor towards me and looked at him strangely. He pointed for me to sit down and asked me for my resume. He sat quietly reading over my resume and I just sat there wondering why he was acting like he didn't even know me. I was low key hurt and I wanted to cry. I thought we had something special and although I appreciate the opportunity he is giving me, I didn't appreciate this treatment.

He put my resume on his desk and looked at me which broke me out of my trance.

"Ok Ms. Smith. After reading over your resume, its obvious to me that you don't have that much experience. The job of personal assistant is very demanding. I have two businesses that keep me pretty busy. You would need to be very organized and available around the clock for me. You will also need to keep up with my schedule and you will be responsible for reminding me of important meetings and ensuring that I don't miss out on anything important. I do not tolerate lateness."

Oh God.

"With that in mind, do you think you could handle this position? He continued.

"Yes, I believe that although I do not have any experience I make up for that with my enthusiasm and willingness to learn. I am determined to fulfill any duty that you throw my way. Im also a quick learner. I believe in being early for everything." I stated.

Ok so that last part was a lie but I turned over a new leaf.

"When can you start?" He questioned.

"Really, I can start as soon as tomorrow." I excitedly exclaimed.

I caught a quick smile cross his face and he went back to his collected demeanor.

"Im going to take a chance on you. Im going to place you on a 30 day probationary period. Your pay will be $3000.00 a month." He stated.

My eyes got huge.

"What? Is $3000.00 not enough?" He asks.

"No, no its more than enough. I just wasn't expecting that much for my first job."

"Well, as I previously stated this job is very demanding so I like to pay accordingly. I will also pay extra if we have to travel and of course everything will be taken care of for you."

"Thank you soooo much. I look forward to working with you"

"You start tomorrow at 9:00 sharp."

"Great, Ill see you then."

I got up to walk away and I felt him grab my wrist. I asked him if everything was ok and he shook his head yes. He asked me if I was ok with the interview being over and I stated yes. He then proceeded to pull me closer to him and let his lips touch mine. He put his hand on the back of my neck and pulled me closer to him. It got passionate really fast and I started to get light headed from the lack of air. I pushed him away and looked at him confused. How could he go from being so insouciant with me to kissing me like he missed me.

"What's wrong? If its about the interview I had to be professional. When it comes to my business Im very serious. Ok? But I really missed you...a lot."

I smiled "I missed you too."

"Ok so kiss me like you missed me Ms. Personal Assistant."

We kissed for a while and I loved every minute of it. We talked for about an hour and I told him I should get going. He looked at me sad and everything in me wanted to forget about the rest of the world and stay with him but I wasn't driving and I couldn't be inconsiderate of Kara's time. I'd already been here for too long. I told him that I could stay for a while until Kara comes to get me so we would be able to spend some more time together.

He looked up at me disconcertedly. "Wait, did I not tell you that this job also comes with a car?"

"What. No. Wait...Really? I stammered out.

"Yes..Very." He stated holding up a pair of car keys for me to grab. I noticed the keys were for a BMW. I am trying hard to hold my excitement in but it is getting really hard. I took the keys and asked if I can see the car. He escorted me outside and we went to the back of the building. He told me to close my eyes and proceeded to guide me forward until we came to a stop. He told me to open my eyes and I screamed at the sight before me.

It was a brand new 2019 white BMW M4.

I was shookt!!

I was going to save up to get a car but now I don't have to. I turned around and hugged him so tight Im pretty sure he wasn't able to breath any more.

"You will be representing my businesses so its only appropriate that you ride in style. Inside are your planner and new computer and everything else you will need to successfully do your job. I also included a credit card for you to update your wardrobe."

"Wow, I wasn't expecting all of that." I turned to him "Thank you again for giving me a chance. I promise I won't let you down."

"I know you don't wifey. Its important that you know though that when we're working it will be strictly business. Ok?"

"Of course. I wouldn't have it any other way."

"Perfect. Why don't you go ahead and leave and I'll get back to work." He said before giving me a kiss goodbye.

I waved as I got into the car and drove away. I still can't believe that this is my new car. I looked in the backseat and all the items he told me about were there. I have a whole freaking job and a whole freaking car. Im adulting like a boss.

I quickly call Kara and asked her where she is. I tell her that I don't need a ride but I want to meet her for lunch. We meet at Chipotle and I wait for her to pull into the parking lot. I watch as she stands in the parking lot and looks around for me then sends me a quick text. I honk the horn so she looks my way before I step out of the car. She stands there dumbstruck as she looks at me exit my brand new car. I walked up to her and she is still frozen.

"What's wrong with you? You're acting like you've never seen a car before." I smile as I walk past her and pull her towards the store.

"But you...when...where...what?" She stutters.

"Ill tell you all about it once we get some food. Now lets go!"
