Star Commander -Voltron: legendary Defenders (Shiro x OC)

How far we've come

I wake up, feeling strange. My body didn't feel... mine. With my head throbbing, I sat up. I was in a small, mostly white colored room. The bed I laid on was not comfortable, but felt better than the Garrison beds. I climb out the bed and head for the door, my stomach growled, sounding like a very hungry bear. Or maybe more like a lion would be more accurate. I thought about lion. The blue metallic lion. That was the last thing I remember, being inside the blue lion then passing out.

As I walk down the long halls I called Keith's name. There was no answer, which worried me. I was in some unknown castle... alone. With none of the people I last saw before I passed out in the site. Entering through two large gray sliding doors, I was greeted by a man with ginger hair, a fancy mustache and pointy ears.

"Oi!" he shouted when I entered his sight. He had what seemed like a Scottish accent, but I was too busy looking at the holographic images fly around the room. "Other one with weird ears!"

"Excuse me," I crossed my arms, glaring at the strange man, "You're the one with pointy elf ears. Weirdo."

"Look who finally woke up. You okay, princess?" Keith's amused voice made me jump.

"I'm fine, one. Two- don't call me princess." I growled firmly, a sense of authority lacing itself in my tone while trying to calm down. He just smiled, looking down at my small figure.

A young woman- about my age- with beautiful, flowing white hair stood in the middle of a huge holographic field. She turned around to face me, a friendly shine in her sterling blue eyes, "Oh!" She exclaimed in surprise, "You're awake! Your other friends will be really happy to know." She, like the other man with pointy ears, had a strong British accent.

"Who are you?" I asked, tilting my head to the side like a curious dog.

"I'm princess Allura of planet Altea! And that is Coran." The blue-eyed woman introduced. She then explained how the others landed on Arus and had left to find the other lions to form Voltron.

"Voltron?" I said in a questioning voice.

Coran looked at me, "You mostly don't know what Voltron is. Voltron is-"

"Voltron is a large robot that was made to defend the universe." I said with no problems. The two aliens and Keith just stare at me. I was just as curious as them, I had no idea how I knew that, but I just went with it. The princess smiled, "Then all we can do is wait until the others get the lions."

Now she and Coran talked to the guys as they finish their hunt- all the while them being attacked by the Galra- and now they were heading back. Keith had told me that while I was asleep, they had pointed at Shiro to be that leader, which meant he piloted the Black Lion. Then Pidge would pilot the Green Lion- he and Shiro were hunting for that right then. Lance of course would pilot the Blue Lion. Hunk pilots the Yellow, which the two were looking for at that moment- leaving Keith the pilot of the Red Lion. "We also chose you to be our Commander."

"Commander?"

"Yeah," he explained, "That means you and Shiro have to work together to lead the team."

I just frowned at this. Keith knew what he did, and was clearly happy with his plan to make me talk to Shiro. Even thinking about talking to him, made me... not angry. Maybe sad. I... don't know. I think I just miss him.

The princess, Allura, spoke to the others over some communication device.

"So... um... Princess? Is Miyuki awake yet?" Shiro asked. Although I would never admit it to his face, I was happy he was worried about me. Even though I wasn't talking to him.

While the guys searched for the other lions, I had some time to think about stuff. The thing I most thought about was, of course, Shiro. No matter how much, or how hard I told myself not to, my thoughts always went back to him. It was so hard for me right now. I had lost two people last year who were important to me, and now one was alive, but the other one was still gone. I know it's selfish of me, but I wanted both of them to be alive and healthy, and then I would be happy.
