After another fail for the guys in the trading room, we all just decided it was time for a break from group training and try something else. So next Coran had the guys try practicing with their lions once again. Which is good. Learning how to work with the lions was just as important as learning how to work together.

"You'll never able to form Voltron unless each of you has a strong bond with his lion," Coran stated to the guys who where flying around at the time. I stand beside him actually kind of bored. I could had went to find Allura but she was kind moody today, so that was a no.

"No Problem," Lance approved to what Coran had said, "Me and Blue are best buds for life, for real."

"Perfect! Then you won't have any issues with this exercise," Coran agreed, "Everyone, put your lion into a nose dive! This is an expert-level drill you shouldn't attempt until you been flying for years,..."

"What?" I questioned his statement, "Then why are they doing it?"

Coran continued, " We're in a bit of a rush, so here we go. Activating training helmets."

"What's training helmets do?" I asked as Lance shout into the ear piece.

"The training helmets stop the Paladins from seeing anything," Coran answered.

"That sound dangerous."

"Oh, it is."

I rise a eyebrow, " How is blinding them going to help them if they're still just getting use to their lions? Well, all beside 'Lance' since him and Blue are 'best buds'."

Coran stand arms crossed, "The goal is to pull up right before you crash into the ground."

I was really beginning to think the Alteans were crazy. This was complete suicide. They were going to crash. Right then I was starting to get a major headache. Which wasn't a surprise I had been getting a lot of them since we arrived with no idea why. Coran explain to the Paladins that they just need to feel the connection with their lions.

The five lions were closing their distance between them and the rocky ground below. I could feel my heart pounding in my chest, drumming in my ears causing me to go a little deaf. Hunk was the first to pull out of the parade of falling metal beasts saying that he was too scared to continue on. Can't blame him, I would have pull out too. I was scary and I wasn't even in a metal lion about to clash into the ground. It probably like seeing your life flash before your eyes while being completely blind. Unlike Hunk, Keith and Lance made it into some type of competition of who would stay in longer and ever decided to make they're lion fall faster.

"Hey, if you two didn't stop competing at everything like this, I'm going to start called you a couple. Klance." I smirked.

"I will kill you, Miyuki Koizumi." Keith stated in a deadly tone.

"No you won't," Shiro jumped in. There his voice became very serious and he snapped, "Now focus guys."

Not listening to Shiro, the two keep going, then clashed into a sand mount. This caused Pidge get off focus and freak out asking, " Did they clash?!" Before she pulled up clashing into the side of a ravine as she did so. Leaving Shiro as the only Paladin still falling, now. He wasn't letting up. My hands became sweaty, I start to chew on my tongue ( it's a thing I do when I am really, nervous about something). Me and Coran watched as the him continue downwards the earth. Then just before he could crash into the rocky ground, Shiro pulled black up.

"Excellent, Shiro!" Coran congratulated.

"The most important part of paladin training is being able to meld your minds and focus on one thing: Voltron," informed Coran as we stand aside watching the guys. The five Paladins sat in a circle in the middle of the training room like it was story time. "Everything else has to fade away. This technique will be essential every time you form Voltron."
