I had woken up that morning to a tornado in my room , I screamed but the wind stole my voice. That was the day I learned about what I could do, I was terrified, my sisters were probably too.

The new girl is glaring at Ignis, I wonder why? I feel the winds picking up outside, but it's not in a natural way. I see the water in everyone's bowls fly towards the wind, to anyone normal it would have seemed like the water got pulled in but I saw the hesitation, it was someone with powers. The lights started flickering and the electricity followed the water, in the form of bolts, the burners in the back light up and the fire joins the other three. It's a supernatural storm the icemaker in the teachers fridge thing and the ice joins as well. It all swirls around then dad walks in and it stops he looks at the new girl and everyone, including the teacher, leaves so they can be alone, everyone but me of course I hide. I watch dad walk over to her “Amandla...” she looks away, so he tries again “Reina..” Reina? She finally looks at him “how do you know I go by that , who are you?” dad chuckles then says “ hold on a second Reina” he walks over to where I’m hiding and says “ Caeli … you should have left” I get up and groan “but Ignis and Voda and Akull and Arguere left why can't I stay?” he glares “because… of reasons” I see Reina start to sneak out and she realizes I notice I hug my dad and mouth to her “go” behind his back “fine dad I will” he smiles “good. Tell your sisters I’m making dinner tonight and we’ll have a guest” “okay dad” I walk out and Reina is waiting, when I step outside she hugs me “thank you” I smile at her “hey, no problem also I have two questions for you , well it's really a question and a statement but still” “okay?” I breathe deeply and begin “so first off will you come and join us for dinner , my dad’s bringing a guest and I guess I mean you seem fun enough to keep me awake soo…” she looks at me “why me?” I shrug “reasons” she looks away “can I tell you something that I feel like you should know?” I nod “sure, shoot” she looks me in the eye “I’m an orphan, I never knew my parents and the orphanage I’m at is strict so I’m not sure if I can, but… if I can find a way to sure, what was the other thing?” I glance down “my sisters will be mean and I won’t be able to do anything , but I want you to know I will always be your friend, even if I laugh at their mean jokes , okay?” she nods “okay well then hopefully I'll see you tonight! Bye!” I wave at her. As her from leaving I feel strangely in control until I hear my father say “I guess you beat me to asking, huh?”
