"You're gonna stay at the Griers house!" She says
My jaw dropped open
"WHAT! YOU'RE GONNA MAKE ME STAY WITH HAYES!?"
"Well yes, aren't you and Hayes friends?"
If I said no, then something would start and I didn't want that to happen
"Uh, well yea but, you know..." I had no idea what to say
"Okay, good then. Your dad and I leave tomorrow so go get ready and packed for Hayes' house, ok?"
"fine, I guess" I mumbled lowly
I go upstairs to my room and get packed for tomorrow
Maybe this is a good thing, I mean maybe Hayes and I will go back to being best friends!
The next morning
I wake up with a bitter sweet feeling, I dont know if I should be nervous cause I have to spend the whole summer with my used to be best friend Hayes, or should I be happy cause Hayes and I might actually become best friends?
I go take a shower, brush my teeth and get changed ( obviously , serena )
"Sweetie, time to go!" My dad screams from the bottom of the stairs
Hayes P.O.V
"Hayes!" My mom screams
I go run down the stairs were she's waiting
"Yea?"
"Serena's mom and dad are going on a vacation."
Wow I haven't talked to Serena in years. I wonder what's up?
"Yea, and?"
"Well she's gonna stay this summer with us, so go get your room cleaned up and clean the guest room next to yours, thats the one she'll be staying in"
"Really?"
"Yea so get to it, oh and tell Nash that she's coming so he knows"
"Ok"
I run up the stairs and down the hall the Nashs room
"Hey Nash?"
"Yea?" He says without looking away from his laptop
"Well, Serena is coming over for the summer while her parents are on vacation"
"Really, cool! I've beem missing her lately .. so now we'll get to talk?"
"Yea, yea all summer if ya want" I can see where this is going
I see Nash chuckle and smile. Then I start thinking about it...
"Wait do you like her?"
"Why do you care?"
"Cause Serena's mine!"
Nash stands up from his desk and comes towards my and gets in my face
"I'd like to see Serena get together with you..."
I feel my throat tighten up
"Oh please Nash, Serena and I have been best friends since day one. "
"Yea, until you left her, you abandoned her,you ignored her, you broke her heart!"
"Yea but-"
"But what? Its all gonna go away and she's gonna forget about it!?"
"Well, I was kinda hoping so.."
Nash shakes his head and walks back to his desk and sits down. Now I feel bad. What Nash said was true. Why would Serena ever forgive me?
