Finally the bus reached my house I got out and went inside my house. My mum was there waiting for my sister and I in the kitchen, she wasn't too happy. "Hi mum" I said. The response was just "Hello" normally she is happy to see us or is just happy but she wasn't today. "Mia and Lexi, look I really do hate to bring it to you but" she stopped "I don't know how to tell you, w-......we are moving" My face dropped suddenly. "What do you mean moving mum?" I said panicking. "Your dad got a job overseas that offers a much higher wage, so we figured instead of him just moving there by himself we would all move" my mum said. My eyes where starting to water. I had no words. I was speechless. My older sister was panicking as she was in year 10 she had so much things going on that she would have to leave and start again at our new school. I went to a really good school, I had the most amazing friends ever, I went to an amazing gymnasium with the best coaches and teammates, I had the best teachers. All to just go away, just like that. "Where are we moving to?" I asked nervously, my mum replied "We are moving to Paris". Paris! "What!" "This is not a dream, we are leaving tomorrow" Believe it or not I was super happy, one of my dream places to go is Paris and I am actually going to be living there. My sister was super happy about it too "But what about" without Lexi even finishing her question my mum says "Don't worry I have already applied you two into a school and a gymnastics team" My mum new us too well!

I started to pack my things, a part of me was excited, happy but the other half was like a wreck, sad. I didn't want to leave my friends. I rang them up and told them the news, they were happy for me that I was going to have a change of living and new experiences and they were also going to miss me very much. The last thing they said to me was "We will still keep in touch, call us when you get there and thank you for being a great friend we will catch up soon bye" That hit me, tears started to run down my face, my mum came in and hugged me and comforted me. "It's okay sweetie, you can skype them every day if you want, we can always fly back in the holidays" Those words comforted me. She then left the room to finish packing her things, I put the last thing in my suitcase and was done packing. By the time I finished it was 9:30 which was time to go to bed as the flight was at 6:00am. I was so tired, as soon as I got into the bed I fell asleep.
