Chapter 7

Athena's POV-

"You know I cant wait to see the boys tonight!" Alaska says excitedly as we walk through the mall.
It has been exactly one year since the boys left. Of course we all missed them, but I was a little nervous seeing Ashton again. I mean, he asked me to be his girlfriend, and I didn't really give him a clear answer I just him I would think about it.

Flashback

"I'll miss you Ash." I said while squeezing him in a hug.

"I'll miss you too." He says into the crook of my neck and holding a handful of my hair. His other hand was wrapped around my waist.

"Athena I really like you." He says in a low tone sending shivers down my spine.

"Ashton," I start.

"Athena please be my girlfriend." He says with his voice cracking.

I took a shaky breath before saying "Ash, I'll think about it."

He pulled away and I look up into his eyes. His beautiful hazel eyes are filled with tears.

"Don't cry." I say my voice cracking a little. I feel a lump in my throat and tears forming in my eyes.

I didn't know how I felt for Ashton. I mean he was like a older brother to me. I didn't know if I liked him in that way, I could but I would have to think about how I would... I don't even know.
"I won't if you won't." He says smiling a sad smile.

"Deal." I say softly pulling him back into a hug. My small arms wrap around his neck and inhaling his sent.

"Ashton, we have to go now." Said Luke breaking our hearts. I didn't want to let go of Ashton and I could tell he didn't want to let go of me.

"5 minutes." He murmurs on my temple sending vibrations through my skin.

"Ashton!" I hear Luke say again.

"You'd better go." I say kissing his cheek softly letting my lips linger.

"I'll miss you." I whisper into his ear
He nods before kissing my cheek and turns before I can say anything.

End of Flashback

"Athena!" Yells Alaska.

"Mhm?" I say still thinking about the day Ashton left.

"Athena." She loudly says waving her hand furiously in front of my face.

"What?" I snap at her for breaking me away from my thoughts.

"What are you getting?" She asks crossing her arms over her chest.

"I got stuff." I say holding up the two bags full of stuff I bought from multiple stores.

"No I meant for tonight." She asks.

"I think Im just gonna wear my jeans and the 5SOS shirt they sent to us and sneakers. You know the usual." I shrug.

"No." She shrieks making some people around us stare.

"Alaska!" I scold. "Will you please take a chill pill you're causing a corruption through the mall atmosphere?"

She huffs in frustration, "Okay fine maybe Im being a little dramatic-"

"A little?" I mutter.

"I heard that." She says glaring at me.

"But we are seeing the boys and Ashton and Luke we have to dress up for them."

"But don't you all say to dress for yourself and not for others?" I say rasing my eyebrow.

"No, you said that. Now come on." She says before pulling me into the closest store which happened to be H&M.

She runs over to the dressracks almost running over a little girl and her mother. I apologize for Alaska and walk over to where Alaska is with a armful of dresses already.

"Alaska you need to chill, you almost ran over that cute little girl and her poor mother." I say rolling my eyes.

"Hold." She demands shoving the dresses in my arms.

"Alaska did you even hear what I said?" I raise an eyebrow.

"Go try those on." She says furiously moving hangers along.

"Alaska!" I say.

"Athena, now or else I will tell Ashton myself that you were snapping out of our conversations to daydream about him." She blackmails.

"Fine." I huff after contemplating the decision for a minute. She smirks as I stalk off and go to try on the dresses. These dresses better have some sort of magical power of making me looking hot.
