Izuku Midoriya - Villain Pt. 1
The Reader is a student at U.A. in her 2nd year.

March 14th. Has it really been two years?

I sighed, collecting my belongings. Exhaustion pulled at my eyes. I hardly got any sleep last night. How could I sleep knowing that he's been missing for two years, and I still don't have a clue where he is?

Swinging my backpack on my shoulder, I hurried down the stairs and out of the dorms. The brisk, cool air nipped at my nose. The clouds were swelling, about to burst at any moment and downpour on the entire country of Japan.

I found my seat behind Kacchan as the bell rang. My eyes somberly stared at the back of his soft, spiky hair. His head was down on the desk, hidden in his arms. He knows what day it is, too.

Ever since the training camp incident last school year, he's never been the same. Kacchan was kidnapped by the League of Villains. Before that happened, he was always so loud and brazen. Now, he keeps to himself, never caring about anyone or anything else. At the very least, he cares for me. I've known him since we were toddlers. And he's always respected me for my strength.

Kacchan's always been so smart, and he could tell how much I liked Izuku. And ever since that day two years ago, he's always been there. He defended me from the pervert grape the first day of school. After he was kidnapped, it seems like the only two people he talks to is me and Kiri.

Aizawa-Sensei entered in his yellow sleeping bag. I tore my eyes away from Kacchan's huddled figure and tried to focus on the lecture today. My fingers subconsciously fiddled with the paperclip ring on my hand. It wasn't anything special - just a few paperclips bent in a circle, held together by a piece of string.

The school day was long. At least it was Friday, so I had part of the weekend to look forward to. Tomorrow, I would be starting my second work study under Lemillion. His agency just started a few months ago, since he just graduated from U.A. He only has two sidekicks at the moment, and they too just graduated from U.A. I'll be his first intern.

As the final bell rang, I nearly sprinted back to the dorms. There were only a few computers, and I wanted to have a turn first.

As I logged in, a felt a figure's presence behind me. I paused and turned my attention to them. Kacchan had his hands shoved into his pockets, his backpack still hanging off his shoulders. "Hurry up." He growled.

Taking a deep breath, I flipped through all the bookmarked sites on my browser. None of them had any new updates, the most recent one from eight months ago, and that turned out to be wrong.

Kacchan huffed before sulking up the stairs. I slowly logged off, hoping that some new update would flash on my screen. Maybe a picture of him. Maybe an address. Anything. Maybe then I wouldn't feel so helpless.

The gray light outside was beginning to fade when the clouds finally mourned. I felt like one of those clouds - everything was building up inside me. One day, I won't be able to control my emotions, and I'll burst from the inside. The pressure was growing.

I set my bag softly in my room, exchanging it with an umbrella that had my initials carved into the handle. Softly, I descended the stairs and snuck through the door. It wasn't hard to bypass the gates with my quirk. I softly ran the back of my hand on the bars, and their image seemed to blur. I passed through the bars as if they weren't there, and deactivated my quirk. Their image became sound again.

One of the reasons why I decided to intern with Mirio is because our quirks are similar. While his quirk takes his own mass away, my quirk takes the mass away from objects. Mirio can only use his quirk on himself, while I can use it on anything that's not living. I admire his hard work, and I hope to learn something from him.
