Everything is great right now. I have tons of friends. My brother always hangs out with us and isnt so mean towards me anymore. Life is being so kind to me. Maybe my luck is turning around. I'm still curious about what Axel said the other day.
*Flashback*
"Hey Axel?" "Yea?" "How did dad afford all of this?" Axel stops walking and looks at me with a surprised expression. "You mean you dont know?" "Know what?" He starts walking again. "Nevermind." I stare at his back that gradually gets smaller. "You cant do that!" "Says who?" "Me!" I hear a chuckle from in front of me. My facial expression twists from one of seriousness to one of question. "What's so funny?" "Nothing. Let's go." "Ok?"
Bad thoughts start to arise from the back of my head, trying to take over, but I wouldn't let them, knowing that my father, the one who's raised me and Axel all by himself, would never get involved in something that would put his life, or ours, at risk. Right?
I shake my head, trying to get rid of the thoughts, focusing on what the teacher was saying. I look at the clock on the wall and notice that I've been spacing out from quite a while now. Sighing, I look down at my desk and close my eyes, hoping to get a few moments of peace. The questions I had and the words Axel spoke to me kept running through my mind all last night like a train traveling in circles, having no clue of what's happening, and having no directions to follow. Only when I hear someone loudly clearing their throat next to me did I realize that I had fallen asleep. Groggily opening my eyes to look at the person who had awoken me from my slumber, I quickly sit u straight once I realize that not only the teacher, but the entire class was staring at me. I could feel the heat of embarrassment rising into my cheeks as I mumble a sincere "I'm sorry miss." The teacher let's out a small "tsk" before walking to the front of the class "Dont let it happen again Bella. I wont be so forgiving next time." I could hear a few kids snickering from the other side of the room. I shot them a quick glare. My expression twisted into worry when I see their faces turn pale, almost as if they just saw a ghost. Am I that scary?
I
soon became aware that it wasn't me they were afraid of. I followed the eyes of one of the kids to see what they were so scared of. "What's everyone so scared o-" my sentence is abruptly interrupted by the air I we exhaling getting caught in my throat. At the door of the classroom was a guy I havent seen in the 2 days I've been here. Who...where....when.....what...? I finally sigh loudly, trying to make it seem like I wasn't affected by the man who just stole my breath. I quickly turn my gaze to the window, immediately getting drawn into the beauty of the old oak trees leaves gracefully floating to the ground as the sun shines down on them like a beautiful dance a ballerina displays to the audience. A small smile creeps up onto my face. This place is so peaceful. The thought of finally making friends quickly faded when I realized that this wouldn't last. I failed to notice that the male was now right beside my desk staring down at me.
???'s POV
"Finally back" I mumbled to myself. I walked into the office to get my new schedule. I walked to 4th period and opened the door. Fear striking the students immediately and I felt it. The satisfaction of feeling the fear spill from classmates who knew me all to well.
A smirk made it's way to my face. "Welcome back Ron." I snapped my head to look at the teacher whose voice pointed out her obvious dislike of me being back. My smirk just widened. "Its great to be back. What's happened while I was away?"
Silence.
"Alrighty the-" out of the corner or my eye a saw an unfamiliar face. New student? I turned to properly get a good look at my new target. My eyes widen for just a quick moment before turning into a scowl, hiding the surprise that smacked me right in the face. Sitting there was a girl no taller than 5'7. Her brown hair framing her facial features. I couldn't get a good look at her eyes, but the smile that spread across her face was graceful. Nothing like the fake smiles I get from all the barbies in this school. No, this was a real, genuine smile. The sun was shining through the window that she was staring out, illuminating her features, making them even more impossibly beautiful. I slowly started to stalk towards her before it got obvious that I was staring. Her smile turned into a frown and her eyes were watery. She seemed to be deep in thought as she didnt notice that I was now right next to her. I took this brief moment to take one last good look, taking a mental picture. My expression softened when a saw a tear caress her cheek slowly. Leaving a clear and shiny stain where it fell. I resisted the temptation to wipe the tear away and instead I clear my throat. Forcing a smirk when she jumps at the sound.
Bellas POV
The sound of someone clearing their throat made me nearly jump out of my skin. Not again... I slowly turn my head to look at the person, mostly expecting it to be the teacher once again. Instead, I found myself staring at a very toned chest. Fear struck me as I slowly lifted my head to look at his face. Taking in his seemingless flawless features. His eyes, oh god his eyes. They were the color of a bright green emerald after it had just been shined a thousand times. His hair was midnight black. The way his hair fell practically made his eyes scream. Wanting you to stare at them.
That's exactly what I did. I stared deep into his eyes, getting lost in the mystery behind them. This is so unfair. Suddenly I found myself enraged. I was angry at how flawless this man is. Its unfair!
I stood up and before I could even comprehend what I was about to do, and slap is spread all throughout the room. The silence that was already present was now deadly.
Immediately regretting what I just did, my eyes go wide. I quickly muttered an apology and gathered my things, running out of the room when the bell rang. Talk about saved by the bell!!! I swiftly went to my locker, trying to act like nothing ever happened. Then it hit me.
"I dont know his name..."
Ron's POV
The moment she turned around to look at me, I knew she was what I was looking for. Theres no doubt about it. When her eyes met mine it was like the entire world came to a complete stop. The eyes so blue they could suffocate you, looking straight into my emerald eyes. A chill exploded down my spine. Before I could brace myself for what was to happened she was up out of the seat and the sting of a slap was freshly placed onto my left cheek. My eyes went wide in shock as i just watched her grab her things and almost run out of the room after apologizing. Her voice was like silk had just been placed on my shoulder. Her voice could ease any weight off of my shoulders with just one single word.
After she left the room I slowly brought my hand up to gently rub my cheek. A smirk present on my face as I walk out of the classroom and to the lunchroom. This is going to be a very interesting year.
