My head was spinning and all I heard was muffled sounds. The world was blank.

There was complete darkness. As a few minutes passed I could make out the voices. It was mom and someone else.

"Is she getting better" Mom asked. It sounded like she'd been crying for days.

"I'm afraid not." Said a voice that I never heard before.

The voice conutined on, " Her chances are extremly slim. You must understand she got shot right between the ribs. There's only a 2% chance she'll even wake up.

I can't die now, or anytime soon. I'm only 15. I still have so much to do. Go to prom, meet my soulmate and begin a family. I don't even remember being shot!

"So tonight.." Mom sobbed.

"Yes, she'll be unplugged tonight around 9. You can take the day to say your goodbyes." The voice said, I assume he's my doctor.

The darkness suddenly started to fade away. I saw my mom crying in the hospitial room, as my body lied unconsciously and pale. Where am I? I looked at the ground and came to the realization that I was floating. I always wanted to fly but not at the expense of dying! I had so many questions buzzing in my head.

"Why is this happening to me? What even happenned?" I asked myself as the world just disappered. I then closed my eyes, preparing for the worst.

I opened my eyes to find myself in my room.

"So maybe it was a dream." I thought as I looked to my right.

I saw myself just doing homework at my desk in the corner of my room. I was sitting there doing homewok before I passed out. That's when it truly hit me. I was dying.

I heard a knock on the door and answered it. My big sister, Maya was at the door holding something behind her back. Maya and I didn't exactly have the best relationship. Mom taught us to be kind Maya was the exact opposite of us. Probably why we don't talk much.

I suddenly got sucked into my own body as Maya started to talk.

"I would like for us to have a nice little chat." She said with a smirk on her face.

Something was up..

"Um..Maya, why are you talking to me. You usually just make me do your chorces and laundry. Why did you really come here?." I asked

"Avery.. as you know mom gave you a letter..."

"Don't Avrey me. Why are you here and HOW do you even know about the letter?" I asked, my eyes filled with fury. I knew that was about to go down.

"I know that was her will. I looked at it when you were at school."

"You don't need it though. First off, your alreadly a billonaire. Secondly.. you don't derseve it"

"Oh,but I do.." She said as she revealed a gun and fired it.

The last I saw was my own blood.
