Tartarus again [Jercy FanFic]

Nico shadow traveled to camp half blood with Jason. He was exhausted. shadow traveling took a lot of strength. Most of the time, it drained him whenever he did it. Jason picked him up, bridal style, and carried him to the Hades cabin. When they got there, Jason slowly opened the door and walked towards Nico's king size bed. Jason placed him on the bed and tucked him in.

"You should rest." Jason told the almost asleep Nico. "We'll talk to Chiron later, he might be able to do something." And with that, he left the dark cabin. Nico secretly wished he would've stayed. He didn't like Jason or anything, he just didn't want to be alone. Such a small word. Though he felt like that simple word described his whole life. All alone. Not when he was little, of course. He still had Bianca back then, but now she's gone. Just the thought of his sister made Nico want to cry. He tried really hard to stay awake, he didn't need anymore nightmares. That didn't last too long. He was tired of fighting himself. So he fell asleep. In his dream, he was in tartarus again. He saw Percy. He was passed out on the floor, and Kronos was laughing at his side. Kronos then picked Percy up, and teleported away from Nico. He forced himself to wake up. He had to do something to get him out. This isn't fair, Percy didn't do anything wrong! He stormed out of his cabin, and headed to the big house. He stopped right at the entrance. 'I have to see Percy' He thought. He re-routed for the woods. It was still morning outside and he need shadows. Nico was determined to find Percy. He would go through tartarus again if he had to. On his way he bumped into Jason Grace.

"Where you going, Nico" He asked genuinely concerned. "You're supposed to be asleep."

"I'm not tired." Nico lied. He was a great liar, Jason knew that. He looked at Jason in the eyes with his best poker face. He finally gave in and let Nico go.

"Now i just have to wait for shadows" he muttered. Apparently Jason heard it, because He grabbed Nico by the arm and turned him around.

"You're shadow traveling, aren't you?" Jason asked with a sad face. Nico only nodded.

"Where are you going?" He asked. Nico wouldn't meet his eyes. He immediately knew what this was about.

"You can't go down there again, Nico. Percy will find a way out. Trust me on this" Jason grabbed his chin so they could look at each other's eyes.

"I have to, Jason. He is being held captive by Kronos. He can't escape by himself. Not this time." Nico looked down at his feet.

"Fine, just take me with you. Please, Nico. I need to see him." Jason asked, even though he knew it was a bad a idea. He didn't care if it was dangerous. He wanted to save his friend. His BEST friend. He couldn't just leave his bro to rot in tartarus. Percy has already gone through a lot. Too much to be honest. Nico knew exactly why Jason wanted to go. But he couldn't let two of his friends get hurt.

"No, it's too dangerous. Remember when i left tartarus? Remember what happened when Percy and Annabeth left tartarus? I don't want that to happen to you too. It's horrible. Again, he wouldn't meet Jason's eyes. He remember well the after-effects of tartarus. All of the loneliness and feeling hopeless. Those where emotions he knew well. He was always lonely until he met his sunshine. Will Solace. After tartarus he was lonely again, in thar bronze jar, and even after. Jason doesn't deserve that. In fact, No one does. He had to get Percy out as soon as possible. The Hero of Olympus shouldn't go through that twice. He shouldn't go through that at all.

"Nico, I don't care if it's dangerous. I have to help him. You should understand that." Jason pleaded. As much as Nico wanted company, he knew it would just make it worse for both of them.

"Look, i will go by myself. If i find him down there then maybe -MAYBE- i will let you come with me for the rescue." Jason didn't look too happy about that, but agreed anyways. It was better than nothing. Nico then turned around around and headed to his cabin. He would need a lot of sleep to make a trip that far.
