Hey! Thank you for checking out my book! This is my first book I have ever put on Wattpad and one of the first I have ever written, I would love to know what you like so leave comments if you would like. :) Enjoy!
Getting the news…. Great.
“Hey Kristen!” Teresa calls after me as I walk to my locker.
“Hey.” I say as she locks her arm in mine.
“Are you ready for the soccer tournament tomorrow?”
“Psh, of course.” I say swatting at her arm.
“You sure? You’re going against the Tigers..?”
“Are you questioning my athletic abilities?” I ask her lifting a eyebrow.
“Just making sure your ready.”
We split when we go our different ways for our classes, me to History and her to Math. When I am in the history room I take my seat and Robert takes his seat beside me.
“Hey.” He says as he settles in. Robert is the player, popular, and the guy that all the girls fall head over heels for. All the girls but me.
He is the guy everyone dreams of dating, the one with the blond hair and blues eyes and tan skin, the popular one who plays football, the one that breaks all the hearts in the school.
But he won’t have the chance to break mine.
I ignore him like always and pretend to read me history book and he snickers.
“Still not talking to me? It has been all year, summer is coming.. and we haven’t even talked.” He says softly.
“Have you ever stop to think that maybe just maybe that is what I want?” I say smiling evilly.
“Ouch Hallows, harsh much?” he asks leaning on a elbow to look at me better.
At this I look at him, slitting my eyes slightly.
“How do you know my name?” I ask him slowly, we have never carried on a conversation for him to know it and let’s just say I’m not known around this school.
“Don’t you think I would have picked it up when I sit by you all year?” he asks raising a eyebrow.
“Just thought you could only think about one thing at a time, and that would be how to break the news to your current girlfriend.”
“You know, even if your words were hurtful and offending, I and glad we finally had a conversation. Would you like to join me at my table for lunch?” he asks, asking this like I should faint at the offer.
I prop myself on my own elbow and lean in close to his face, smiling flirtatiously. At this site he smiles mischievously, his gaze dropping to my lips.
“I would rather throw myself in front of a moving train.” I tell him softly before pulling away and settling back into my book.
He opens his mouth to reply, but the teacher walks in, his eyes landing on Robert until Robert pulls away and settles into his seat so he is facing the front of the room.
