"Ah, you poor little thing." The man mocked standing not far away from you. How could you stand the man there? Not that you wanted to spend any more time with that guy but the situation you were made it complicated to run away.
As you laid on the table with the top of your head off, and the brain exposed for everyone to see, you could just stay there not moving. You were actually surprised that you were still alive, yes, the process of removing the top off your head was great but you were still alive.
"So, you are going to eat it?" you asked curious once the man made his way towards your brain. He took a seat and remained unmoving for sometime watching you with a monotone face.
"No, that's gross." His hands made their way to your brain and you were not as scared as you thought you would be. Curiosity was more of what you felt, you were alive and you were actually going to see what he did. At the news, when people were found out dead, they were missing the brain so you concluded that he ate it.
He touched your brain, not that you felt it but you were able to see him move his fingers in your brain. He did a few things and then he stood up."Well, I am all done." He said it as if it wasn't a big deal touching your brain. Turning around, he walked towards the exit and stopped after he walked just a few steps. "You know, you don't know what you really are and what you are capable of."Not turning around, he crouched and grabbed the top of your head, which laid on the floor. He then grabbed it and looked at it and then at you. At the end he walked back to your location and place the top of the scalp on your head. He waited until it took its place and your brain was no longer exposed. "It's quite sad, really that you are not able to use your gift to the fullest." And staring at you for a minute or so, he held a face of something that you couldn't put your finger on. He's the killer and you thought that he would kill you after he obtained what he wanted.
He broke eye contact and turned around leaving, this time not stopping. As you waited for him to leave, you sat up and touched your forehead. There was a trail of blood but your head was as if nothing had happened to you.
Not a minute after, you just sat there thinking until you were interrupted but a thumb on the door. You were quite frankly surprised to see none other than Yuj walking in with panic written all over his face.
"[Name]..." he trailed off once he realized the blood on your forehead. His eyes softened and he rushed to your side. "What happened?" he asked engulfing you in a tight hug.
"I..." you began but you weren't quite sure if you could explain what just happened but your body reacted and placed your arms around Yuj too.
He did not push it, he just hugged you there and you swore you heard a few sniffs. "I should have come earlier." He commented not pulling away.
"It's fine, I am fine really." You tried to convince him that he could have done nothing but the question of how (if he knew) he knew about the man.
"Your father told me about him." As if he read your thoughts, he pulled a bit back."I asked him if I could stay here for a couple of days so I could keep as eye on you, but.." he looked down." But he said he had everything under control." There was a sad expression on his face. He then opened his mouth to say something else but he was interrupted.
"[Name]?!" yelled a voice that you would probably never going to forget, he save you once after all.
"Ven?" you asked pulling away from Yuj, who looked sad/angry at the same time."What are you doing here?" you were surprised that he was here.
His eyes widened."Oh my God!" he rushed and inspected your forehead."Are you alright?" he asked just like Yuj. Yuj stood up and stood away, as angry as he was that he was interrupted, he knew that you needed comfort from all of those you cherished.
"How did you know what was going to happen?" you grabbed his hands and smiled sadly.
He grabbed your hands and gave them a little squish."I didn't. I just needed to come and see you, but as I neared your house I noticed that the door was opened and I knew something was not right."
"Oh." Was your only response. Soon, you had more visitors. Tifa, Namine, and another girl you have not met came in. Cloud, Angeal,Zack, Vincent and another two followed. At the end, it was your father who as soon as he entered, he was scared. He rushed in side and pushed those who held you in a hug, away.
"[Name]!" he had you in a crushing hug. By now you were standing up."Damn it!" he cursed with a few tears in his eyes."I should have been here!" he blamed himself, that was for sure.
You shook your head and pulled back."I'm fine. Besides, there was nothing that you could have done." You told your father,everyone who said if they were there. You smiled, sure you had been only a step way from death but you were alive and there were people who cared for you. What else could you ask for?
He nodded and glanced around."I..I've got to take care for a few things. Alright?" he asked stepping away from everyone.
"Hey [Name]. I know this is not right time but, Sora here is eager that I introduce you."Zack, who seemed to always have a smile glued to his face was now smiling sadly.
"It's fine, I kind of think that I need to forget about what happened, even if for a few minutes."A smile of your own, you gave.
He nodded and two males approached. One of them with brown hair and a smile that brightened your day."Hi! I am Sora and this is Riku!" he introduced himself and the other silver haired boy. Zack rolled his eyes but smiled when he was interrupted.
"Sora?" that name, he was the one Cloud talked about and even Kairi, who seemed to not be willing to share information about them.He nodded."Well, it is a pleasure to finally meet the famous Sora." He grinned scratching the back of his head with a hit of pink on his cheeks.
"Yeah! Me too, Zack and the others have not stopped talking about you!" he admitted making said voice look away clearing their throats.
This only made you smile." Sora!" Zack yelled punching him playfully.
Sora pouted bugging the sore spot."Sorry about him, he's a bit..." Riku glanced at his friend and shook his head with a smile."Hyper."
At the mentioning of hyper, a female voice responded." Hey!"
"Yuffie!" Tifa scolded said female and reached for her but she was too far from her grasp.
A smile that stretched across her face reminded you of Sora for some reason."I am Yuffie! The greatest ninja ever!" She exclaimed and as you nodded and waited for her hand to shake, she engulfed you in a hug."I am SO happy to meet you!" she yelled with happiness in her face.
As you all laughed and chatted, you were actually happy to see them all here. It felt warm to see all this people here. They were people who you just met but they cared for you and it made it easier to forget about what just happened.
Yuj only watched and he was glad that you were happy and able to forget about what happened, even if it was just for a moment. Then, as he glanced around he noticed the looks that some of the guys were giving you and he growled. That look was the same as his when he looked at you.
