Chapter 20

That day, the day that you were left in a town, you were not sure what you were supposed to do. Rude had driven to a small building and he was nice to open the door of the car for you. You were not crying anymore, but that did not mean you were happy with the situation. Rude took out a small bag and handed it to you along with a key.

"Everything is ready, there is the key for the apartment you will be staying at." He hesitated but you were not looking at him, you just looked down at the ground."And there is money in the bag, along with a few documents." Placing a hand on your right shoulder he sighed," I have to go, take care." And with that, he shut the door and headed for the drivers seat and took off.

A few minutes, that was what it took you to finally snap out the trance you were in and headed in the building. The interior of the building wasn't too fancy but it was OK, not that you paid much attention to your surroundings anyway. The key that Rude had handed to you was in your hand so you looked at it, there was a number in it so you searched around until you finally were standing in-front of a door and there was the exact number just on top of the door. Placing the key in the hole, you turned the nob and there was click. Finally you stepped inside and placed the bag and what little you had with you on the couch. The inside of the apartment was decent, there was a small kitchen to the left of you and just in-front, there was a small living-room. A few windows adorned the living-room, and a small hallway was just to the right of the living-room so you headed there to find the room and rest.

Once you found it, you opened the door and got in. There was small bed was just at the corner so you threw yourself on it and closed your eyes.

You were not sure how long you were out but if it weren't for a knock on the door, you would probably be still sleeping. With a groan, you rolled to the side and sat up. In a lazy manner, you walked towards the door and opened it, only to be see two young males standing there with huge grins.

"Hi!" one of them greeted and glancing from one to the other, you couldn't help but notice how similar they both looked.

One of the males had a plate of food on his hands."Hi..." you stared at them with a blank look.

The one who spoke first still grinned." I am Tidus and this is my brother, Shuyin."

"It's nice to meet you Tidus and Shuyin." You tried to smile but you felt that the smile came out forced but if they noticed, they did not care.

"Well, we brought you this. Our mom is the owner of the restaurant and she wanted to welcome you to the town so welcome...."

Right, you hadn't given them your name." I am [Name]."

Their grins grew. "Well, welcome to the town [Name]!" Tidus greeted and handed you the plate he was holding."Here, a gift."

Staring at the plate, you took it and smiled a bit."Thank you."

Shuyun, who now that you looked at him, he seemed a but older that Tidus, smirked replying." No problem, we are more than happy to welcome you!"

Tidus nodded and placed his arms behind his head."Well, we got to go.See you around!" he waved and you nodded.

Once they turned around, you glanced at them for the last time and you closed the door. You headed to the kitchen and placed the plate on the table. You unwrapped the plate and the delicious aroma made your stomach grumble.

Taking a look in the drawers, you noticed that they were full with either plates, cups or glasses. It seemed that your father planned everything so well. You took a plate and grabbed a fork and headed back to the table. Once you were there, you placed a small amount of food on the plate and you ate it. It was not so late when you decided to go out and look around.

"Hey, it seems we have a visitor." The woman of a restaurant not so far from the building that Amanda own said glancing towards said direction.

Two males who were helping serve the clients glanced towards the same direction and smiled.

The woman then frowned."But she doesn't seem so happy...." she commented watching your posture, you were looking down at the ground.

The boys glanced back at you and they nodded noticing what their mother was talking about. " I was going to let you guys take something for her to eat but..." she sighed, " but we better wait."

"Hey! Where's my oder!" an old guy yelled wanting to eat his food.

The woman sighed again,"Tidus." And he nodded walking away.

"You too Shuyin, get to work." She commanded and the male frowned but obeyed.

A few hours later, that was what it took them to convince their mother that you would be hingry and that you needed something to eat. Tidus and Shuying pumped they fists in the air when they convinced they mother. She wrapped some food in a plate and she handed it to them. With a small smile, she shook her head."Go, if you are so eager to welcome her."

It was childish of them to act like this since they were adults but they did not cared. The town's people liked them that way, they were good and kind people.

Tidus and Shuyin grinned to eachother and they knowcked. They waited and they finally were able to see you. Your eyes were puffy and when they introduced themselves to you, they noticed that your smile was forced but they knew that perhaps were were having problems and it was too soon for them to ask if there was somthing wrng with you.

They grinned and welcomed you, at the end they were happy to know your name. Once they said their goodbyes, Tidus glanced at his brother."It's strange don't you think?" he asked now his smile erasing from his face."What do you think is wrong with her?"

Shuyin too had a serious face."I don't know, from what we saw, maybe she's rich or something to have a man with fancy clothes to bring her here...." he commented but then shrugged. "I don't know, maybe she'll tell us when we get to know her."

Tidus' smile returned." Right."
