"Tatsuya wake up.......WAKE UP" Tatsuya wakes up from his sleep and looks up. Ms. Thompson was looking down and glaring at him. "Tatsuya, if you would at least stay awake while I teach, your grades might be much better" Ms. Tatsuya said, looking at him menacingly. Tatsuya sits straight and looks to his left and sees Gwen, his best friend, was looking at him, unamused. "you okay?" Gwen said, grinning at him "I got woken up by an evil teacher, of course I'm okay" responded Tatsuya sarcastically.
As the bell rang, Gwen and Tatsuya had already packed their school bags and head out to PE. "Hey, Tatsuya, want to skip class?" Gwen said said, Tatsuya looked at her with an unamused expression on his face "dude, no". "why not?" Gwen said, looking at him, confused "Cause....The teacher will ask where we were" Tatsuya said looking at Gwen, who is looking at him with a smirk "you just wanna see Eve". Tatsuya looked at her torn between anger and embarrassment "N-no I don't wanna see her! I d-don't even like her!" Gwen raised an eyebrow as he said the last sentence "you literally talked about her last time we played Minecraft" Tatsuya's face turned scarlet and glared at Gwen. Gwen got the message and stopped talking for the rest of the walk to PE.
Gwen and Tatsuya were sitting on the bench with the other kids while two of their classmates were trying to find the teacher. "Hey, wanna see what games there are for I.V.R (Implant Virtual Reality)?" Tatsuya said, looking bored "Sure, before we lose the Imfi (Implant Wifi)" Gwen responded.As Gwen and Tatsuya try to find some new game to play, Gwen heard a few of their classmates talking "Hey...Have you heard about that game called...what was it...oh! 'Game Gate'?" a boy said "Isn't that game illegal?" said a girl , sounding a bit concerned "yeah, I heard that if you die in that game, you die in real life!" as the boy said that the two girls who were listening gasped in surprise. Gwen stopped listening and looked at Tatsuya with a smirk "Hey, wanna play 'Game Gate'?"
