What Did I do Wrong?

Author's POV

The next day, Jungkook woke up weak. He got ready and went to school. When, he got there, he saw Jimin at his locker. He walked up to him and when Jimin saw him, he was happy. He noticed that Jungkook was limping a little, but he thought maybe his brother had hurt him again. He actually, wanted to speak to him about that. "Hi Kookie." he said and Jungkook just smiled. Jimin decided to bring him to the roof as it was more private. "I'm sorry." Jungkook said. "What do you mean?" Jimin said.

"I'm sorry. My brother said that I'm a bad boy." Jungkook said. When Jimin looked at him, he could see how sincere Jungkook was. "Jungkook, what we did yesterday doesn't make you bad. If you forced me, you would have been a bad boy but we like each other, so it's okay." he explained. "Force you?" He asked puzzled. "Yes, rape." he said surprised. "Don't you know what rape is?" Jimin asked and Jungkook shook his head. "Don't you have a computer to search it up on the internet?" he asked shocked and Jungkook shook his head.

"No. My brother always lets me use it for projects only. I have a phone but I don't have internet on it." Jungkook explained. "Didn't your brother ever talk to you about that?" Jimin asked still not believing him.

"No. I-I...." Jungkook looked up. "My brother is very protective of me, so he doesn't let me do a lot of things." he added looking down and that broke Jimin's heart. He was starting to have a bad feeling, like Jungkook might have been hurt because of him.

"Jungkook, why did you say sorry?" Jimin asked worried. "Because, I did something bad. I had sex in the house." As he said that, Jimin's eyes widened. "D-Don't worry. My brother punished me yesterday." Jungkook pulled his shirt up and the red markings could be seen. "He punished me, so now, I know never to do that again." He explained smiling.

"Are you happy? That means, I am a good boy now." He said and tears fall down Jimin's face. "Jungkook, this isn't love or care. This is abuse and harm." he explained but Jungkook shook his head. "N-no. My brother says he only does it for my own good, so that's okay. If I get to keep him close to me, so he won't leave like mommy and daddy, then it's okay." Jungkook said.

"What happened to your parents, if you don't mind me asking?" Jimin said. "They died in a car accident a few years ago." he said. "It was my fault. I was sick and they left to get me medicine and their car was hit and they died because of me." Jungkook explained and tears fall down his face. "Jungkook-ah, it's not your fault. You were sick and your parents were taking care of you." Jimin said. "But brother said that if I wasn't sick, them mommy and daddy would still be here." Jungkook said looking down in shame. "Then, your brother is mean and doesn't deserve an angel of a brother like you." Jimin said and pulled Jungkook to give him a hug.

Jimin didn't want to know the truth behind the limping because he was afraid that his suspicions would be right. "Jungkook-ah, why are you limping?" he asked and closed his eyes anticipating the answer. "Please, don't tell anyone but my brother made love to me yesterday." upon saying that, Jimin's world came crumbling down.

"M-made love?" Jimin asked as he let go of Jungkook to look at him in the face. "Y-yes." Jungkook said and more tears fall, when he remembered the pain. "Jungkook, did you want it to happen?" Jimin asked. He had tears in his eyes but he had to be strong for his boyfriend. "N-no. It didn't feel like when I was with you." Jungkook explained. "Jungkook-ah, your brother raped you yesterday. He forced you into sexual actions that you did not want. You should report him to the police." Jimin stated looking at Jungkook in the eyes.

Jungkook immediately shook his head and bowed down in front of Jimin. "Please, don't tell anyone. I would lose brother and I don't want too. Please, please, please, pl-" Jungkook kept on repeating but Jimin stopped him by hugging him. "It's okay Kookie. I won't tell anyone." Jimin answered but deep down, he would at least tell his friends.

"My brother said to break-up or else he would leave me." Jungkook said looking down. "Break up?" Jimin repeated. "Y-yeah..." Jungkook said looking down in shame. "You want to break up with me?" Jimin asked and Jungkook didn't know what to say. "Your brother wants you to break up with me?" Jimin asked again and Jungkook nodded. "Is it because of your brain damage?" he asked again and Jungkook shook his head again. "M-my brother only wants what's best for me, so I guess that's why. B-but we can stay friends." Jungkook explained but Jimin felt betrayed.

"Okay. Let's break up but I can't be friends with you because I like you so much. I'm sorry." Jimin said as tears fall down his face. "Here." Jimin said handing him a bag of chips. "Enjoy it." he added before waving  goodbye and walking away.

When he got in the stairs, he fall on the ground and cried hard. Jimin had really, really started to like Jungkook and it hurt him so much that he had let him go so easily but then, Jungkook didn't have any choice, he probably didn't know better.

He went to his first class and sat down with their friends. They told stories and he laughed with them but deep down, he was heartbroken.

Later at lunch, he walked into the cafeteria and saw that Jungkook was sitting with the usual crew. Tae waved at him and he walked to their table. "What's up guys?" he said and Jungkook looked up.

"We're good. Just heading to the yard later today. You wanna come?" Yoongi said. "Nahh... I have homework." he said. When they were done, Jimin stayed in the cafeteria and Yoongi went up to her. "Homework, my ass! Come up with a better excuse next time." He said before sitting in front of him.

"So... you and Jungkook, hm..." he asked and Jimin nodded. "He told you?" Yoongi nodded. "He only told me. He trusts me most, he said." He explained. "His brother is a shit-head. The way he treats him should be reported but apparently, people have and nothing has been done." Yoongi explained and Jimin breathed out exasperated.

"I had started to like him a lot, you know. He's the first guy to have ever made me feel appreciated and that I have self worth." he said and Yoongi smiled. "I wish, I could help." he added and Yoongi nodded, "me too."

"What does he get from treating him like this?" Jimin thought out loud. "Well, their parents left all their money under Jungkook's name. The only way for Jahyung to get to it, is if he has Jungkook with him." Yoongi explained. "Always follow the money, honey. How do you even know about this?" Jimin was shocked but chuckled.

"I know, right! Always the freakin money. My parents work in a bank and were once talking about him. I guess, they didn't know I went to the same school as Jungkook. To think, Jungkook would give it all up, just for an ounce of love from his brother." Yoongi said, smiling sadly.

"Oh well, what can you do?" Jimin said. "Indeed." Yoongi stated. They kept on talking for a while until the bell rang for their next class.

Later that day, Jungkook got picked up and found his brother home. "Brother, I-I broke up with him, like you wanted." Jungkook said. "Good boy." Jahyung said ruffling his hair. "B-but brother, he made me happy. Don't you want me to be happy?" Jungkook asked innocently. "Of course baby brother. I do. I just don't think you are ready" Jahyung said before sending Jungkook away.

"I need you for my money. Why else would I keep such a worthless brainless person like you." He mumbled to himself after watching Jungkook head towards the dinning table for dinner.
